Sunday with the family to celebrate grandmother Teresa. We started with a mega divine appetizer from the seas and mountains, then continued with exceptional first courses and succulent second courses all washed down with Donna Luce and Cacchione from Casa divina provvidenza... coffee and jefferson with cake Maurizio and Donatella, great hosts of home... see you soon and thank you for everything as always you made us feel at home.

Bistrot al Casaletto

18/03/2024: I often went with my family. We ate well. The dishes are presented in a very original way. The environment, although small, is very welcoming. The location is convenient, because it is near my house.
04/03/2024: Very quiet and welcoming, with helpful and kind staff. Excellent typical Roman cuisine. I highly recommend it for a quick day in the capital

29/03/2024: We went early evening which seemed to shock the staff as it is common to eat late in the evening. But they made no fuss, set our table, seated us and served us with no long waits and incredible service. The food was some of the best we have ever eaten. The dark breaded scallops are the best scallops I've ever tasted! The carbornara, ditto! The setting is stunning and because it was early, we had the place to ourselves. Pianist started as we were leaving which created a lovely atmosphere.
16/02/2024: The place has been around since 1923, and of course it has been renovated...but it is affectionate, sophisticated, classic, and an icon in Rome. It is called “The Stairway to Paradise”.. In the restaurant the weather was cold so we had lunch indoors.. Alessandro is a lovely host and has great recommendations.
