Argo Greek comfort food In Ancona

Amazing small place with delicious Greek food. I had a vegetarian pita with halloumi and it was perfect! 😍 They also serve baklava. The service was friendly and the prices reasonable considering the portion sizes. I totally recommend it if you want something else than Italian for a change. 😁

Excellent Greek food, simple, fastfood style, but if you eat on site it is well prepared, plentiful and tasty

We had a chicken souvlaki wrap each and they were absolutely amazing. So tasty, felt like we were back in Greece. If you're ever waiting for a bus at the flix bustop, this place is just a 2 minute walk away and totally worth the stop.

Very basic place but it's worth going there, I only tasted the Greek-style pita gyros and I will definitely go back for more, you accumulate points and discounts based on what you spend, if you want a bit of Greece and you like those dishes go there , salads, cheeses, sauces, meats and methods of preparation, beers, all Greek and a little Italian..... Recommended, go there and taste it

The food is fantastic, the staff is very kind, the only thing that makes you turn up your nose a little is the place which is a bit "spartan".

When we arrived at closing time they still welcomed us and served us without rushing us. Excellent pita with lamb and reasonable prices.

Very good and filling food, large servings and friendly service

One of the best Greek cuisine restaurants I have ever tried. Homemade cuisine that takes your mind back exactly there, the dishes are plentiful and of excellent quality. The location coming from the station, perhaps for a quick trip to Ancona, is perfect to then continue towards the historic center, it is located under the arches. The owners are two exquisite and genuine people. Definitely a fixed stop for future visits to Ancona. Super recommended

One and the boat will be late, I said to eat something, my navigation shows Argo and next to the port where I was, I say I'll go eat I got a portion of gyro Very good portion with half a tomato perfectly salted onion thin and nice and enough lettuce good potatoes familiar leave me indifferent But the gyro is perfectly cooked without too many spices to lose its taste and the pie is nice and greased. 13 euros is a good price for Italy and what Greece offers can be 7 to 9 a portion but the quality is poor Those of you who are at the port and want to eat something good and relatively cheap should go to Argo
