Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere surrounded by greenery, and upon entry, the inviting yet unobtrusive smell of grilled meat fills the air. The cellar is well-stocked, and during this time of year, mushrooms galore, beautifully pan-fried and grilled caps.

An excellent restaurant offering local cuisine in a very elegant setting. It's not close to a main thoroughfare, so it takes a bit of searching, but if you do find it, you'll find top-quality dishes. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but they reflect the quality of the food.

Spectacular location! We were in a group and we ate appetizer and meat, the latter truly exceptional. The price is slightly high, but you know, quality costs and if it's worth it, in my opinion, spending a few euros more when there is an excellent quality/price ratio, is more than justified.

We ate here for a baptism, so the menu was agreed upon in advance. First and second courses were good, the appetizers couldn't compete, some of the things were the typical frozen fried food already prepared.

16/11/2025: Despite showing up at Lucca Comics & Games three different times, rain or shine, we managed to snag a table for two without waiting more than a few minutes each time. The cuisine was traditional, plentiful, and incredibly tasty. The prices were fair, perhaps slightly above average, but I challenge myself to find a restaurant within the city walls like this with record-breaking preparation times, prompt and knowledgeable staff, and such high-quality food! A total pass! It was an unexpected treat that made our Lucca Comics experience a hundredfold!
12/11/2025: A restaurant with a very unique location, a wide selection of dishes, and good quality. It takes a bit of patience to get your order, but if you're not in a hurry, it's fine.

Rusticanella 2 " da Luca"

14/10/2025: I had dinner with my wife at this osteria ten days ago, after making a reservation because on Saturday nights the good places are "walled off". We had already read good reviews, then as we passed by the osteria, the place attracted us... it didn't seem like the usual tourist spot, and so it was. Porcini mushroom crostini, beef carpaccio with raw porcini mushrooms and parmesan, dressed with delicious olive oil, accompanied by a glass of house red, all excellent!!! The carpaccio melted in the mouth, and since it was mushroom season, the porcini mushrooms were delicious. The porcini mushroom crostini were a harmony of flavors. We finished with a dessert: a chocolate and pear tart with flambéed Catalan cream, a must-try. It's true that the tables are close together because the place is small, but that way we met and talked with two very nice locals who confirmed that the food here is good and authentic at a fair price! We'll be back!
07/10/2025: Rusticanella 2 da Luca is the place to visit in Lucca. I ate here multiple times during my stay and tried a different dish each night. Local, authentic, and delicious. The staff exemplify pride for what they do and made my stay here even better. Be sure to try their house wine!
