A restaurant on the banks of the Arno near the Fortezza bridge. Deckchairs, swings, and tables for an aperitif or dinner. Exclusively seafood dishes available: fried fish, cod sandwiches, and shrimp sandwiches. We tried the cod and chips sandwich and the shrimp sandwich, both very good. Price: €10-€13 per sandwich. The atmosphere is lovely at sunset.

When you follow the following three rules, you'll usually return to a place: 1. Pleasant atmosphere/location 2. Good food 3. Fair price for the food ordered In this case: 1. Original, simple, yet charming place along the banks of the Arno 2. Fried calamari and shrimp, not even one shrimp... with 6 calamari. The spicy sandwich wasn't spicy at all, the soy sauce was missing, and the mayonnaise wasn't flavored. 3. €15 for the "fried calamari" and €14 for the sandwich, with self-service like McDonald's, is excessive regardless. (Drinks not included). Add to that the fact that the food wasn't that great... Ergo: we won't be returning. I'm not giving it a lower rating because of the nice location and perhaps because it was a bad night (I don't think so, it wasn't packed). My partner would have given it a lower rating.

Nice place, right on the Arno River. The cocktails are good and sophisticated, perhaps a little above average in terms of price. The food is good, above average for a fast food restaurant. Perhaps it could use some more attention to the environment (grass cutting).

A thoroughly enjoyable experience: delicate, tasty, and quintessentially summery. I've known Argini e Margini for a while, especially for their after-dinner drinks, which are always top-quality and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is refined and almost enchanting, especially at sunset. This time, however, I decided to try dinner, and the choice turned out to be truly delicious. I ordered mixed fried fish and fried cod, accompanied by two cocktails, enjoyed comfortably on the lounge chairs on the "beach." The location exudes complete relaxation, with carefully selected music and very fast service (which can be slow when it's busy, but nothing serious). The cocktails, already familiar, are excellent; the real surprise was the fried fish: The fries were cooked to perfection, perfectly dry and not overdone. The mixed fried fish was light, crispy, not greasy, and with a nice balance of flavors. The cod was exceptional, prepared with care. A special mention goes to the mustard and honey sauce: truly "from another planet." While I usually reserve 5 stars only for absolute excellence, I'm going all out here: I give it a full 5 stars, because this place embodies flavor, summer, freshness, quality, relaxation, and the desire to be in good company; all at a more than fair price. Conclusion: a destination worth savoring, whether for a simple final spritz or a dinner worth experiencing. Without a doubt, the best place to eat and relax along the Arno.
