The rooms are not what you expect for 4 stars, my first shower was with ice cold water, the ground wasn't flat, tiny bathtub, the water is so salty and stinky, better not drink it. The staff was friendy and helpful, no problems there. Breakfast could have more 'salty' options. Except for the coffee, due to the water, the coffee was salty. Perfect location for exploring Ortigia and Neapolis and all between by foot.

25/02/2025: I attended an evening with a live band on Saturday evening. Where it is recorded like the one I participated in which was a Pooh tribute, there is a presence of people exceeding 250, as I could see from the turnout for the event I was present at. I paid little because I also ate a pizza that was really decent, nothing to say: in other places to have a pizza in less than an hour with such confusion you need very light mini pizzas. Here, however, it was a classic pizza that weighed at least half a kilo. I saw that people had fun and a very nice environment was created

La Taverna Del Pescatore

26/04/2025: Food was very delicious, we had two pasta, one was ravioli with pumpkin and the other one was pesto and prawns… However we ordered two semifreddo which were totally frozen but we ve been told that was normal which is not the true.
20/12/2024: Abbiamo prenotato a queto ristorante, sotto consiglio dei proprietari del beb. Che dire... ospitalità e gentilezza contraddistinguono la Taverna del Pescatore... Un ambiente accogliente e caratteristico che ci ha colpito da subito lasciandoci per un attimo sbigottiti. Passando alle portate, abbiamo deciso di provare l'antipasto freddo di mare, a dir poco spettacolare e freschissimo, ed una grigliata di mare a dir poco strepitosa e super abbondante. Dopo aver scoperto questo meraviglioso posto, non abbiamo potuto resistere e tornarci per 3 sere è stato doveroso. Un posto davvero accogliente in cui sentirsi a casa. Ah dimenticavo, non perdetevi la focaccia calda bianca appena sfornata per accompagnare il tutto. Davvero il Top 🔝
