Today, May 22, 2025, when I entered the Ikea store in Pisa, at 2:40 pm, I chose to go to the refreshment area on the ground floor before shopping. The order was prepared and brought to me by a young black man, whose commitment and ability in terms of diligence, speed, precision I appreciated. Sealed by a frank, dignified, vital smile. Here: as a mature European I was moved, thinking of the uphill roads traveled by so many fellow countrymen (yes: from all over Europe) migrants, of the storms and difficulties experienced by the young man in front of me and of the horizon of consolidation and valorization that I glimpsed for him and hoped for, hoped for so many other "landed hearts". A sincere appreciation therefore for the Human Resources function in the company and a strong, heartfelt wish of "good luck", with esteem, to that good bringer of smiles :).

I would only like to give this advice to IKEA customers (and indirectly also to IKEA itself): for any assembly needs, AVOID turning to Taskrabbit, which is the service they recommend. You schedule the assembly for that day and they systematically blow you off or cancel the task at the last minute, leaving you in the dark... take this advice to heart. Greetings to everyone.

An Ikea like in Germany. The lamp I wanted was there as an exhibit but not available, ok, that could happen anywhere. Unfortunately the toilets were not 1a. Otherwise everything was wonderful.
