The arancini/fried dishes are good, the guys serving are nice, BUT BE AWARE OF THE PACKAGES TO TAKE AWAY.
I took some packages to take away, inside they got the wrong flavors of the arancini, I asked for the rings and they put a lasagna. So sympathy is fine but the WORK MUST BE DONE WELL.
This happened because he had already closed the packages, which should instead be closed in front of the customer.
P.S. Taken in the morning, at lunch they were good, the next day NO, THEY ALL GONE ROTTEN. The ones he put in my packages were probably all old. Be careful.

Historic arancine bar. Known to me for over 40 years. Point of strength and quality. The other products were giants too. 400 grams arancini. Unfortunately now, although good, they are smaller. Staff always impeccable and helpful. Advised

First impact upon arrival in Palermo, all closed at 7.00 am time of arrival of the ship. Good food, prices a little touristy but still fair for the area. The arancine and very varied croissants are good. Hygiene and service to be reviewed....

I am making this comparison with arancine from Bar Touristico, Bar Alba, Ke Palle, Recupero, and Bacio Bar in Bagheria...
Come here to sample an arancina alla carne. This will become the standard against which all others will be judged. The inner filling has just the right amount of volume, and unlike some other ragu sauces, which are heavy on the meat, this ragu includes peas and tomato sauce. It's a really satisfying mix. It's not too salty, but the salt is there, and the filling ensures the experience is not too dry or too moist. As you move to the outside, you find a crust that is perfect! It's almost crunchy. The contrast between sauce, rice, and crust is well defined. Sometimes, the crust is more of an afterthought, or it is something that just soaks up oil. But here, it is an "element." And the bread crumbs are big, not too fine, which I think helps them maintain their character. Finally, these arancine don't give me heartburn, and they don't feel heavy in my stomach.
For all these reasons, these arancine are the best I have found in Palermo (or elsewhere).
