We just happened upon Montarozzo 8 years ago on an Appian walkabout and it blew us away. Back in country we had to do it again and it was simply awesome and so authentic. Love the place!!

We had a wonderful time, truly excellent food (honourable mention for the veal breast and hazelnut parfait), welcoming environment, attentive and professional service without arrogance. Being lucky enough to live nearby we will be back soon!

17/02/2025: So, I wrote this review 1 1/2 years ago. Seems good things don’t change came back and went again just as good if not better. The wait staff is very friendly, wine is superb. Overall great experience. M Great place to go to if you want authentic Roman food. I asked our concierge to send me to someplace he'd go to and this is where we went. It's not fancy but the food is very good - prices are reasonable. Our waiter showed us pictures of himself with Sylvester Stallone who had been there recently with his family as well as Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen. I guess if it's good enough for them it's good enough for me considering they can eat anywhere they like.
16/02/2025: Osteria Romana, traditional dishes accompanied by excellent fish and traditional cuisine. Super recommended

03/02/2025: We have been to this wonderful restaurant twice and we were delighted by the professionalism of the staff, high quality food, friendly, professional, helpful and smiling staff, a particular thanks to the deputy manager and the boy who takes care of the wines but also to the girl who takes care of the reservations and accounts who was very nice, helpful and elegant in carrying out her duties, thanks again and congratulations 🍾 🔝
