I ordered tiramisu and Aperol. It tasted exactly like in Germany. Now I don't know if the Germans can make it as well as the Italians, or if the Italians were as bad as the Germans.

It was a pleasant surprise. A 60-year-old restaurant that maintains a simple, classic decor and doesn't leap to pretension. I appreciated the fact that it didn't try to be a clone of so many others. It focuses on good food, and I loved that. The appetizers, like the reinterpretation of the '80s scampi cocktail, were delicious and varied. The breast baked in the oven melted in your mouth and was exquisite, as was the fillet Wellington. The courteous waiter and delightful owner did the rest. It was a wonderful evening with friends.

Ate here for lunch, was one of the best risottos I have ate in Rome! The waiter was one of the best too! He was friendly, nice, and kept making sure we were good to go! Must go here for some food!

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's baptism and I must say that I was really very satisfied with everything. Refined food, present but discreet service. All seasoned with an intimate and family atmosphere. The outdoor garden then allows children to play and have fun outdoors. Super recommended!

Good food, service with some flaws.. we asked for information on what was in a dish and the lady couldn't tell us anything.. this thing left me a bit perplexed.. otherwise the cake prepared for us was excellent too

Today, 04/21/2025, we enjoyed a fantastic appetizer and typical Italian food, with the advice of the staff and careful and exquisite treatment, even though we went without making a reservation and the place was full. We will return on our next trip!!

28/09/2025: The waiter with the glasses was super nice! The service was heartfelt. The food was delicious, from appetizer to dessert. The lovely waiter recommended the wine, and it was a hit! We visit here every time we're in Rome.

06/05/2025: Suggeritoci dal titolare del B&B Vigna dell'Agrifoglio dove soggiornavamo, abbiamo scoperto in questa Osteria tutto il meglio della vera cucina romana... Inoltre la simpatia di Paola, la titolare, e di tutto il suo staff ha reso le nostre cinque cene indimenticabili e assolutamente da ripetere. Praticamente si sta a Velletri ma si respira e si gusta... Roma! Dall'antipasto al conto tutto buonissimo e digeribilissimo. Assolutamente straconsigliato!

The owner, Paola, is friendly and welcoming, always greeting us like family members. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Velletri.
