Homey atmosphere. Very good food and generous portions. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If I were to return to Rome, I would choose it again.

The appetizer was a bit unrefined, the cured meats weren't memorable, the cheeses were good, and the jams weren't suitable for cheese (they taste like ordinary sweet breakfast jams). The cacio e pepe was dry, not creamy, not al dente, and lacking in flavor. The pepper was only spicy, not aromatic. A shame. Perhaps it's better to focus on the final result rather than the quantity (I couldn't finish 200 grams of poorly seasoned tonnarelli).

I'd heard good things about this place before, and I have to say it lived up to my expectations. Generous portions, tasty, and carefully prepared dishes. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a place where you can enjoy eating, and I'll definitely be back.

Kind and more than abundant portions

I often go to eat at this Roman trattoria in the Garbatella area... I'll start by saying that the staff is the kindest thing... everyone is very attentive, polite, and always ready... the food: huge plates that can be divided into two and still remain abundant... delicious amatriciana, sauce well-bound, bacon, top pasta al dente... cacio e pepe, ditto... delicate, perfect cream, divine meatballs... huge and melt in your mouth... then the huge disappointment... the oxtail!!! My son had pasta with oxtail... it was a lake of liquid sauce... detached from the pasta... basically the pasta remained dry with the bland and flavorless sauce... he left it all... I had oxtail as a second course... even worse... tough... so tough I had to use my hands because I couldn't remove it with a knife... the sauce was anonymous... really a shame because everything else was really top... it was the first time I had it... I'm a fan of this dish, and the other times I never managed to try it because it wasn't available... everything else was delicious... popular prices and I repeat... truly exquisite staff... one lady in particular... very attentive to everything.

Il locale è storico e non ha cambiato l'arredamento, perciò entrarci significa tornare piacevolmente indietro di qualche decennio nella Garbatella autentica. L'interno è piccolissimo e per questo si mangia letteralmente attaccati gli uni agli altri, senza libertà di movimento. Il servizio non è particolarmente veloce, ma i camerieri sono gentili e simpatici. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e tutto è molto condito. I prezzi non sono bassi, ma sono in linea con tutti gli altri locali della categoria, come allineato agli altri è ciò che si mangia
