An old-time tavern, friendliness and simplicity in service, simplicity and abundance that we also find in the kitchen. More than enough portions and cooked with love.

The amatriciana didn't completely convince me, the sauce maintains a bit of acidity in my opinion. furthermore it is not 2 ounces of pasta, perhaps 170 gr. The staff is very kind. the gricia is done if there is no mess...(?).

We had a great time, Sunday lunch, popular cuisine, generous portions, brisk but kind service, prices in line. Worth trying if you are in Garbatella, recommended.

Sono tornato dopo qualche anno in questa osteria e devo dire che le aspettative non sono state deluse. Ottimi e abbondanti i primi e ottima anche la trippa. Prezzi assolutamente in linea. Gestione familiare. Bravi.

Cucina tipica romana con porzioni davvero abbondanti. Ho preso una carbonara e dei secondi, tutto molto buono, anche i miei amici che hanno preso altri primi sono rimasti più che soddisfatti. Prezzi bassi a mio avviso per la qualità e la quantità dei piatti

28/02/2025: Really delicious food, high quality!! It's a bit of a walk and somewhat in a remote corner, but it's worth it. There are also nice places nearby to have an aperitif, for example.
28/02/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An exceptional experience at Osteria da Marcello 1961! We enjoyed a perfectly measured Aperol Spritz, followed by tasty pasta all’amatriciana and a tender and delicious octopus. All accompanied by an excellent bottle of wine. The atmosphere is warm, the setting magnificent and the service impeccable. An essential address for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. We will come back without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
