Delicious, typical Roman dishes In the beautiful Garbatella neighborhood near the Cesaroni bar... They serve a generous amount of pasta, but you can also order a half-size portion, which is 150 grams. ...good prices...we'll definitely be back...

We were looking for a place to try good, authentic cuisine, and we were completely satisfied! We had the carbonara (delicious), the meatballs (huge), and the Roman-style artichokes. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. I'd go back. 🍝

A typical, traditional trattoria with authentic flavors...very kind, professional, and helpful staff. The atmosphere is truly clean, tidy, and quaint. The carbonara is the same as it used to be (thankfully, not the carbocrema of today)!

16/10/2025: Il Bocconcino has now become a true go-to for dinners... but especially for breakfast, always fabulous, both sweet and savory! The location is meticulously maintained, welcoming, and above all, spotlessly clean—a pleasure to walk in every time. A special thanks to Mr. Piero, always kind and helpful: he recommends excellent dishes and instantly understands his customers' tastes. What I appreciated most was his willingness to customize dishes without any fuss, a rare thing that really makes a difference. A place that combines quality, customer service, and a pleasant atmosphere... highly recommended!
16/10/2025: Super! I've been eating here for years and it's always a guarantee! Piero is fantastic, kind, always attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He recommends excellent wines! If you want to dine in a family atmosphere with quality food, then this is the place! And if Piero is there, trust me, the dinner will be top-notch!

05/10/2025: Carbonara pasta 2/5 Light pesto pasta 5/5 Fried eggplant app 5/5 Salty reviews of Carbonara are precise. Order at your own risk. Server managed a busy lunch opening himself for about 15 minutes gracefully. Service after that was lacking but I can forgive it. At the end he told me I have to leave a separate tip. I didn’t and I’m only not deducting a star for it because my girlfriend really enjoyed her food here. I tried her pesto pasta and it was very good. I will take this as a win for a super touristy zone. Super helpful to walk up 10-15 min before opening since we had a Fork reservation but they evidently aren’t checking that site prior to opening and sit a full table by 10-15 minutes into lunch service. Wine was delish.
30/09/2025: It was AWESOME, delicious, the servers are so lovely, I recommend this place
