We choose Acquatica for our last dinner in Alghero. We sit outside: the atmosphere, directly on the port, is magical. Well-executed dishes, both the tartare and the first courses we chose. Correct account.

Letizia and the entire crew are lovely and do always all their best to offer you a marvelous meal. We come here since years and we’ve been always welcomed in a great way. They even can serve you sometimes something out of the menu to make you happy. I strongly recommend this restaurant in the marina! 🫶🏻👏🏻

We first spotted this place in 2018 from the Bastion above the port, looking down at the diners eating in romantic lighting on the edge of the Marina, we didn't get to go then but after unsuccessfully trying to book a table on my other half's 50th we were told it was closed on Mondays, which happened to be B's birthday. Not to be put off we booked it for the Thursday in our second week on holiday for 9.30pm, we like eating late and sitting there a few hours. It didn't disappoint, we ordered a cracking bottle of chilled Centogemme Alghero Torbato which went perfectly with the monkfish Catalan style starter and the spaghetti vongole (the good thing about this dish is that here, unlike others nearby give you the choice of omitting the Bottarga (dried mullet roe), which does nothing for me except barf. Anyway, Marcello the waiter was proud we had chosen the Torbato, at around £24 pounds a bottle in a fantastic restaurant you can't go wrong. If you want a tip on the wine and keep being told the Cannonau is the best red, then try the 'Monica', believe me it knocks the Cannonau of it's perch for me. Anyhow, 80 euros for a truly wonderful night out, book a table outside at the waters edge, listening to the boats and the mast ropes ping in the breeze as you while away a few hours with delicious food and wine, what more can you ask for. Fabulous.

Locale un po’ su una banchina ed un po’ su palafitta, con vista superba sul porto, sotto le mura fortificate del centro storico. Si può mangiare come ristorante vero e proprio, con posti anche all’interno, ma comunque con vetrate aperte che permettono di guardare direttamente le barche, oppure più semplicemente come bistrot, con vista meno panoramica. Personale molto cordiale, servizio ineccepibile. Il menu é sardo con rivisitazioni in chiave moderna, ma senza stravolgimenti eccessivi; materie prime di qualità, soprattutto pesce. Conto onesto, considerato che si tratta di ristorante di pesce, con una location straordinaria e, almeno dalla parte del ristorante, con una pace e con i sapori del mare veramente rigeneranti
