A happy Monzese discovery.
Practically in the center of Monza, with a small reserved car park, the restaurant offers a varied fish menu which is well presented with the various courses.
The prices are high, almost like those of a seaside tourist resort (it reminded me a lot of Capri in this, but without a sea view) and, therefore, the value for money is good but not excellent.
The dishes are satisfying.
If you order only one dish, in addition to the cover charge, a cost of 5 euros/person will be applied for the service and it is clearly shown on the menu (there is no small text written, but it is readable exactly as if it were a course)
The service is discreet and attentive, not very proactive.

This is why I want to say a few more words to define the Aquarius experience: in the face of great courtesy and excellent intentions, I am convinced that it can easily reach excellence!!
You cannot judge a place by its environment, especially if it is very clean and tidy; but you can't ignore an atmosphere that smells of the past, of lines and colors from other years. It is not necessary to follow fashions & modernity at all costs: a few small targeted tweaks, without large investments, could make a lot of money!
Let's get to the dishes: finding something alive is not at all a given even in seaside cities like mine, so chapeau. My diner says the raw prawns were fabulous! the oysters, some very salty... water balance?
My seafood salad, I asked first if it was warm, and so it was, well balanced with the vegetables; but why then the 4 mussels and the large piece of tuna, cold from the fridge?? a great shame, because they spoiled the final effect.
The mixed grill was richer in quality than often happens - and the price was in fact the consequence - but here too, the cooking was a moment ahead, with the result that some pieces were a little dry and too firm...
Among the desserts, Pastiera TOP without hesitation!! more authentic than many 'housewives' I've eaten.
In conclusion, I would like to return to the kindness and friendliness, which are the reason for this long discussion which is intended to be nothing more than a proactive consideration of a place where we spent a very pleasant evening!!

I organized a company Christmas dinner for my employees on a Friday evening and we all had a really good time.
The courses are all really excellent, of very fresh quality and fresh ingredients of the day, the owner is very friendly and professional, a quiet and non-confusing environment, ideal for a fish-based dinner or lunch, recommended for families, groups of friends or business dinners.CONGRATULATIONS.

Everything fantastic. Excellent food and served even better. You start eating as soon as you enter, with that delicious smell of fish cooking 😋 a laugh with the owner, our fellow villager, and the evening was wonderful 😊 we will be back often. Top.

per me tutto bene.ristorante di pesce in centro a Monza,pesce fresco di buona qualita',porzioni abbondanti,prezzo con the fork conveniente,locale pulito e ben arrdato,unica pecca forse il servizio leggermente svagato,ma complessivamente promossi a pieni voti,consigliato.

Abbiamo pranzato qui un sabato, prenotando con The Fork e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Il locale è una pescheria con il bancone per la vendita ed attigua sala ristorante, abbastanza ampia. L'ambiente è essenziale, moderno. Il punto forte è la cucina, ovviamente di pesce, con un menù abbastanza ampio senza essere eccessivo. I piatti sono molto buoni, ben cucinati e presentati bene, senza eccessi e con buone quantità. La qualità c'è, sia nei prodotti che nel risultato finale. Buona scelta di vini. Il servizio è efficiente, cortese e cordiale. I prezzi sono in linea, se si considera lo sconto, altrimenti medio-alti. Tirate le somme è un posto che vale la pena provare.
