Appia Antica Caffe In Roma

We had a bike tour at the Appian Way and we stopped for coffee. This place has the friendliest people I've met especially the lady with the blonde hair. It was the best stop we've made in our trip! Their Pistachio Ice Cream was great and coffee is excellent ✅

I got off at the wrong stop, Route 118, and had a difficult time getting to Via Appia. It was lunchtime, and I was thirsty and hungry, so I had a delicious draft beer. The IPA was fantastic. It paired perfectly with the prosciutto panini, and the backyard atmosphere blended in seamlessly with the surroundings. Most of the staff were also very friendly.

Perfect sunny terrace for an over priced espresso! Loved it anyway...nice peaceful ambiance weekdays. Avoid all of Appia on the weekend. Great escape from the city center.

One of the most beautiful bars in Rome and a location as beautiful as few in the world.

Located in one of Rome's most beautiful settings, it lacks lactose-free milk; otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. It's quite expensive, but you pay for the location.

I visited Sunday 2nd November 2025 after walking down the appian way nice courtyard to sit had a pot of tea and fruit cake owners lovely just to say I got back to my hotel ok

Simple but very cozy cafe where you can sit outside in the shade of trees and parasols. Nice staff, good food at good prices but not so clean toilet.

Great cute little spot. Customer service was excellent, great location to enjoy a beer outside the busyness of the city. Short walk to a very cool and underrated museum. Sits on the oldest semi-preserved road in Rome!!! The phrase “all roads lead to Rome” came from this road - the mother road. If you’re a fan of the Bible it’s also the road Paul entered Rome on (Acts 28) - which is why I walked it and how I found this spot. Shirt walk to so many catacombs - which are a must if you’re in the area. I

freuento questo posto da anni ....che dire....Ci sono luoghi che non sono solo bistrot, ma piccole oasi dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Questo è uno di quelli. Varcata la soglia, si respira un'energia d'altri tempi, fatta di scaffali carichi di libri che hanno respirato storie, messi a disposizione dalla sensibilità artistica del signor Roberto, il proprietario. Lui stesso, un artista, ha saputo infondere in ogni angolo un pezzo della sua anima. Al bancone, potresti essere servito dalla signora Lia, che con poche e sapienti parole, ha il dono di farti sentire subito a casa. C'è Alda, il cui sorriso illumina anche i momenti di serietà, e la bellissima Giulia, una mora affascinante, che a volte è accompagnata dalla figlia, ancora più splendida. Se siete fortunati, seduti al bancone, potrete incontrare Mauro, un uomo la cui storia è un libro da sfogliare , un racconto che vi lascio il piacere di scoprire😁 E in cucina c'è il tocco magico della bellissima Marina che trasforma ogni piatto in un'esperienza deliziosa. Praticamente l appia antica caffè è Luogo Magico da Vivere Ogni singolo membro dello staff, con la sua unicità, contribuisce a rendere questo bistrot un luogo davvero magico. È un rifugio dove ogni dettaglio è curato e ogni persona è un piccolo tesoro da scoprire. Ma la magia non finisce qui. Per chi desidera esplorare, il bistrot offre anche un servizio di noleggio biciclette, con uno staff altrettanto fantastico hanno sia bici tradizionali che elettriche, e organizzano Tours guidati...l'occasione perfetta per pedalare lungo l'antica Via Appia e acquedotti romani e ammirare le sue rovine in totale libertà. Consigliatissimo, un'esperienza che nutre il corpo e l'anima.
