The first time I was there we went with our neighbor and I was amazed because I didn't believe places like that still existed, the trattorias of the past, the ones that make you feel like you're eating at your grandmother's house.

A place that doesn't particularly attract. It looks like a bar, a bit let down. In reality they also have rooms for eating. Very old furniture, but there is a lot of choice on the menu, and at least for what I ate, it was also good. Practically the only place I found in the area, good at keeping it alive!

Osteria Il Foppone di Violanti Claudio

22/11/2025: It's hard to find an Osteria that still feels like an Osteria. Superb Osteria food, for people who love eating like they used to. I recommend the Veal Paté with Passito, Tonnarelli with goose sauce, and a superb mixed boiled meat dish with mustard and salsa verde. One negative note: the mustard could have been stronger and not sweet, but the food and service are superb!
