Rating strong 3. No waiting list, the staff seats guests like sardines despite the fact that the entire restaurant was empty. Spinach ravioli tasty, pizza average. Very poor for an Italian restaurant, especially the staff, who are supposedly smiling, but you can feel the artificiality.
What a fantastic couple of evenings we spent here. The atmosphere was relaxed but the attention to detail exceptional. We were served by friendly and helpful staff, especially Alice who was kind and considerate and gave great advice on food and wine. The food was delicious and unusual. The wine list excellent.

I don't like overcooked pasta. The lobster pasta is sweet. It tastes like Chaoshan sweet noodles. Lobster has a strong wine flavor. I can't eat anything with alcohol because I'm pregnant. I can only eat welldone steak because I'm pregnant. Foreigners may not be able to cook welldone steak because they don't eat it much. It's easy to burn. Soft drinks are more expensive than other restaurants. It may be expensive because of the orange slices. Haha, even if it's expensive because of the service. It's fancy. The price is OK, all the ingredients are real.

One of the tastiest meals we had during our trip!
We ordered the carbonara with truffle, seafood Pasta, and the Parmesan creme brulee with salad, every dish was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The creme brulee was outstanding, it melted in our mouths and tasted absolutely amazing!
The restaurant was very clean, the atmosphere cozy and elegant, and the service was friendly and professional.
There’s also the option to sit by the window on a swinging bench - a really original and charming touch.
Highly recommend this place would definitely come back!

Very good traditional food, with interesting combinations. Only problem I had was to pick only two meals from the menu, because everything seemed tempting. Big recommendation for Beef ceeks with mashed potatoes and crispy artichokes and pasta with mushrooms and truffle.

En medio de todos los restaurantes turísticos hay un lugar adecuado, una buena selección de vinos, buenas materias primas correctamente trabajadas. No esperaba comer tan bien cerca del Panteón. Revelador: no necesitan a alguien afuera en la calle tratando de atraer a la gente.

Leo que la Trattoria Antonio está clasificada en el puesto nº 637 de 12.576 restaurantes censados en Roma. Eso quiere decir que es mejor que casi 12.000 restaurantes de la ciudad. En mi opinión, se come tan bien que debería estar incluso mucho más arriba. Voy a este restaurante siempre que voy a Roma, y nunca me falla. Todo está bien: ambiente, servicio (¡¡¡magnífico, y además hablan español, para los compatriotas que no hablen italiano o inglés!!!), cocina, bodega...
Como estamos en estación trufera, el otro día pedí un huevo poché, con espuma de parmigiano, y lascas de trufa negra cortadas allí mismo. Estaba buenísimo. Y de plato principal, uno de pasta, que es magnífica en esta "trattoria". Elegí una carbonara (¡¡¡estábamos en Roma!!!) con huevo y panceta, más quesos pecorino y parmigiano, que ya de por sí estaba excelente. Pero además la mejoramos con trufa negra y trufa blanca, recién cortadas (¡¡¡qué aroma!!!), que dejaron la carbonara insuperable. Un plato inolvidable.
Los postres, café y grappa de "Antonio" están al mismo alto nivel. Y los precios son muy razonables. Y está casi al lado del Pantheon. Todo perfecto para una comida excelente.
