Come da titolo ottima sbuzzata avuta in questa osteria / mangeria/ succulenteria un week end di fine marzo in quel di Siena con la mia ragazza.
C'ero già stato all'inizio del periodo pandemico, tra un Lockdown e l'altro, son voluto tornare, sicuro di non avere delusioni.
La mia ragazza diceva "ma no, dai, mangiamo qualcosina al volo, giusto un panino al bar, a sedere ci mettiamo a cena",ma insistendo l'ho convinta.
Cosa che infatti ha premiato: antipasti con Crostini (crostoni) pomodorini e di chinghiale sublimi ma sopratutto due pappardelle al ragù di chinghiale S-T-R-A-T-O-S-F-E-R-I-C-H-E, infatti io ne ho preso un secondo piatto da dividere in due.

Locale molto carino, pulito e tranquillo. I gestori sono sempre molto gentili. La posizione è TOP! Il menù è vario, economico e con prodotti naturali.

Behind Piazza del Campo there is a delicatessen that is honest in terms of price and type of products. I really liked that they framed all the thoughts and drawings from past customers (some truly the artists). Don't be surprised if there are so many "rules" and instructions on how to behave inside the venue, but I imagine that, especially during the days of the palio and when there is a large influx of tourists, it is important to maintain order and discipline while still guaranteeing quality in the service. The only sore point is the ribollita: in my personal taste, I am fond of the more liquid and soup version, but instead I found it more solid, like "mush" rather than tomato, than ribollita. Very good cured meats.

I must say that I had a really good dinner in this place, very welcoming even aesthetically with decorations for the Christmas holidays.
We soon have crostini, a cutting board, a ribollita and tomato soup with two glasses of wine.
It was a nice culinary experience with homemade quality just a few steps from Piazza del Campo.
Five stars.

Small and welcoming place, typical dishes and good wine. The products come from small local farms. We were there for a quick lunch and were more than satisfied with the welcome, friendliness and kindness of the owners. Emanuele and Anna are two exquisite people. If you pass through those parts don't miss it. Exceptional experience

Three people went here for lunch. Small family run restaurant. We took an appetizer, a lard and truffle crouton, a plate of mixed crostini, two lasagna, a risotto, wine and water and spent 60 euros (20 each). Top portions and EXCELLENT value for money.

Small restaurant where they serve top quality local products. Very pleasant and polite attention. We had ravioli and risotto with a couple of local craft beers, and a formaggi mix with two glasses of local wine. Everything was very good. Highly recommended.

My favorite restaurant in Siena. I've only had the ravioli and garlic toast. If I went back again, I'd have the same thing. So good!
