Antico Naviglio In Modena

I decided to spend my birthday night here, and it was simply perfect. Everything was impeccable, from the attentive and friendly service to the quality of the dishes, which showcase the exquisite ingredients and meticulous preparation. All this in an intimate yet warm atmosphere that makes you feel at ease. The prices, in my opinion, are also commensurate with the quality and location. A truly pleasant discovery in the heart of Modena! P.S. Bollito was amazing!

High expectations, good food, beautiful location, it's a bit of a "I'd like to, but I can't." The wine list is simple, the menu traditional, everything good, but nothing to tear your hair out over. The gnocco fritto is quality, the cured meats are good, the tigelle are forgettable, the tagliatella is neither praiseworthy nor infamous, the tartare is good, the boiled meats are TOO boiled: I expect the zampone and cotechino to be pink, but here they were overcooked... it's still a good restaurant, it won't make it into my top ten, but if I were to return, I'd do it again and try something else.

I ordered a plate of tortellini and the meat from the boiled meat cart, along with an excellent Lambrusco: everything was truly delicious. The place is very cute and elegant, the staff is extremely kind, and the service is impeccable. If I really had to find a flaw, it would be that it's a bit noisy, but that's quite normal for a place with a lot of tables like this. Definitely worth repeating!

We came to this place after watching the episode of "4 Restaurants," attracted by the boiled and roast meat cart, which did not disappoint. In fact, I recommend it because it is really well-prepared and accompanied by excellent sauces and mustard. The service could be improved; perhaps there are too many carts around, as for the atmosphere, which is certainly welcoming but a bit impersonal. The cuisine is top-notch, and that's enough to make us return.

What can I say? An incredible restaurant, everything taken care of down to the smallest details. Great care and love in what they do. We will be back very soon. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

A fantastic location just outside the center of Modena. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the food is truly delicious and traditional. The location is very intimate and perhaps a little too sophisticated, but nothing special; perfect for any occasion. Congratulations.

Amazing dinner... An appetizer featuring fine and unique cheeses I'd never tasted before, accompanied by a delicious culatello... The flan was delicious and beautiful, like a painting... Followed by sublime parmesan-crusted tortellini... And the Rossini-style truffle fillet melted in your mouth and was exquisite... The Nebbiolo wine was top-quality... Impeccable and fast service... The owner was very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it!!!!
