Top Attanasio's shortcrust pastry is unsurpassed. Then eaten hot, it's SUPER. It's worth the long queue.

If you're in Naples, you can't miss Attanasio's for sfogliatelle and baba. As well as Neapolitan pastiera. Try it and believe it.

Freshly baked Sfogliatelle and Zeppole (the Sfogliatelle are endless!) are delicious… the staff gets annoyed if you don't get a move on! (So, not a touristy place, but authentic.) This is NOT a cafe!

The best, unbeatable on sfogliatelle! At that incredibly low price, it's worth the line every time! P.S.: But on the babà and zeppole, they barely pass... A far cry from their top spot on sfogliatelle.

The place is quite famous for its sfogliatelle (shell-shaped puff pastry) and sometimes there are queues, but I didn't encounter one when I went to buy 3 to go around 7:40 am (I was staying very close by). They were warm and carefully wrapped for the trip. I found them very tasty, much better than the ones I tried yesterday elsewhere. But I had only eaten that other one, so I can't say whether or not they are among the best in Naples. They cost 6 euros for 3 sfogliatelle.

Always, and I repeat, always, if I travel and have the chance, I bring Attanasio's sfogliatelle! Sublime, and anyone who has tried them, even if they're not from Naples, has always loved them!! NEAPOLITAN HERITAGE!

17/02/2026: Homemade lunch menu food, really very good, well-made homemade flavor of a lifetime. It has been a pleasure. The friarelli, in particular, were really excellent.
16/02/2026: It's local kinda business lunch restaurant for 10 euros Monday to Friday you get bred, glass of wine your choice of precooked italian style food, bottle of water(still or sparkling) and coffee or fruit in the end. Great meal for that money, fast and good friendly service.

14/03/2026: We tried the tripe shop, especially the 'O pere 'o musso and the Roman-style tripe: delicious! Definitely worth a try. The staff is friendly, courteous, and clean. You eat up front at high tables, as is typical in this narrow restaurant. Definitely worth a try!
