the best place to eat sfogliatele. if you arrive from the airport with Alibus in the Piazza Garibaldi or if you arrive by train, make a stop here before the hotel and have a 1st taste of Napoli. The staff are amazing! They even gave some sweets for free to my son.

Absolutely the best farfalle and pastiera in the city. I wasn't very enthusiastic about the caprese but it was still acceptable. Low prices compared to other places (€1.80 per piece and €3 for the pastiera which is huge). Super recommended. They accept paper.

Visiting Napoli for the first time, this very pasticceria was the one I was seeking to experience the best of all three versions of Sfogliatelle. Thus, to not only chance upon it, but to be welcomed so wholeheartedly by the owner's cousin, making his personal recommendation, coordinating my purchase and completing it with a hug was an over the top introduction to the wonders of Napoli. And, yes, while all three are a must try, the Lemon is also my favourite. Grazie mille! Carol

Siamo stati per l'ennesima volta a fare colazione ( e non solo, take away nel tardo pomeriggio con cartonate di sfogliatelle da portarci a Roma) nel mitico forno Attanasio. Le sfogliatelle sono strabuonissime, ricche calde, belle gonfie sia ricce che frolle, ottimi anche i taralli salati ( nonostante ci sia un pò troppo pepe). Unico inconveniente ( si fa per dire) la lunga coda per aspettare il proprio turno. Simpatici e super veloci i ragazzi dietro al bancone, straconsigliatissimo perchè il forno ATTANASIO a Napoli è il NUMBER 1 !!!
