What I really loved was the classic atmosphere of the restaurant. The food and desserts were also very good. I had spaghetti, grilled lamb, and panna cotta. Everything was excellent, and the waiters were very professional.

This is a pleasant Roman restaurant. A very classic trattoria offering typical Roman dishes. Special mention goes to the polpette and the saltimboca. Unusually, the desserts are also interesting. All in all, we had a good time in a relaxed and fairly family-friendly atmosphere.

A place for Roman cuisine from times gone by

This historic trattoria, in addition to maintaining the typical dishes of Roman folk tradition (a more appropriate term than Roman cuisine), offers them without too much formality, yet expertly prepared. I tried (as an off-menu item) the excellent homemade fettuccine with fresh porcini mushrooms and the tasty and tender roast lamb. Other diners also commented on the dishes they tried (from the Roman-style cod, to the cacciatore-style rabbit, and the pasta dishes) as being of excellent quality. The wine list, perhaps, has a slightly excessive markup, considering the "tenor" of the establishment, which aims to maintain its popular appeal. A trattoria that, in any case, is worth a try. As a serving note: arm yourself with patience, as finding parking in the evening is extremely difficult.

Very cozy atmosphere, a small, family-friendly restaurant with quality food. I wasn't sure whether to order pasta carbonara, but when I saw the roast lamb on the menu, I didn't hesitate. It was juicy, with a delicious sauce, and the potatoes were delicious. I would definitely go back. The service was very friendly. We're Spanish, and when they listened to us, they tried to understand us and made us understand them instantly.

Tagliolini cacio e pepe buonissimi, tiramisù SPAZIALE! Personale cortese e servizio veloce. Si respira e si mangia la vera tradizione romana! Super consigliato! Anche i prezzi adeguati a quello che abbiamo mangiato!

Nos recomendaron probar esta “trattoria” romana a pocos minutos de la calle Plaza de Pedro y los Museos Vaticanos. El aspecto y la sensación del lugar es muy simple y de gestión familiar. El menú es variado con especial diario en una tabla. Realmente disfrutamos de aperitivos fritos: Fiori di Zucca, Baccalà’, y Carciofi alla Giudia. Como plato fuerte, sugiero no perderse Carbonara o Amatriciana. Realmente genial! Como segundo plato disfruté de “Coniglio allá cacciatora”. Como postre, pruebe “Tiramisù”... uno de los mejores jamás probados. El servicio fue rápido, educado y competente. La única desventaja de una comida perfecta era el “Linguine alle vongole”. Esto no estaba en la tarjeta del menú sino como “Especial del día”. Así que no se mencionaron ingredientes. Pedimos tres para los niños diciéndole al camarero que eran para los niños. Cuando llegaron a la mesa, los niños pronto descubrieron que el plato estaba lleno de pimiento rojo picante, imbatible para un niño de 7 años. Cuando se lo dijimos al gerente, al principio estaban un poco molestos debido a los comentarios y pidieron ser reemplazados. Después de que entendieron y trajeron 2 platos nuevos no hay pimienta. Han sido rápidos también para acomodar a los niños. Así que, al final nos alegramos por la conclusión y porque los niños también estaban bien. La retroalimentación aquí es para decir a los clientes si algún plato tiene pimiento rojo picante, especialmente, si se ha dicho que son para niños.
