Antico Castello In Moncalvo

We had lunch today at Antico Castello di Moncalvo, and honestly, after reading some of the reviews, we were a little hesitant... but we had a great time! We ate well, everything was delicious, and the place truly deserves it. Reading some of the reviews, it almost seems like people are expecting a Michelin-starred restaurant... come on 😅 I've read complaints about some dishes arriving quickly, like the risotto. But it's normal for many restaurants to have the rice partially prepared ahead of time to accommodate the service; that doesn't mean it's bad or poorly made. We had a great lunch, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Based on our experience, we highly recommend it 😊

Delicious food and very friendly staff. We always stop here for lunch during our motorcycle tours in Monferrato.

Excellent food, very good pizza, very thin, truly delicious... The cooking is also really good... Homemade gourmet..... Let's not talk about the desserts, they are truly excellent 😋
