Antico Caffe Spinnato In Palermo

We opened and closed our weekend in Palermo. The location was beautiful, and the delicacies we tasted were delicious!

Very nice service on a quiet pedestrian street. We ate a risotto and a vegetarian pasta and we were both very satisfied, super delicious! However, the tiramisu was just creamy with no flavor, not good at all. The espresso was a real caffeine kick!!

When we review a place, we don't just focus on the quality of their products, but above all on the overall service. As others have pointed out, the wait times aren't the fastest, but as is well known, haste isn't the best companion for those who do things well. We're clearly in a pastry shop that has made history here in Palermo and has been a model for many others. We were talking about the service: kindness, courtesy, and very polite manners. We had requested a dessert that was unfortunately out of stock at the time, and when we asked the waiter, he kindly recommended an alternative that fully satisfied us, paying particular attention to our specific needs. There's little to say about the desserts and the rest; just read the other reviews. In any case, 7 Veli, granitas, cheesecakes, and single portions in general: a big no-brainer. It's the best pastry shop in Palermo, maybe not, but it's definitely among the best. We haven't noticed any particular impediments for certain types of disabled people. If you're looking for parking in the area, forget it.

We stumbled upon the café by chance and tried the arancini (luckily with two meatless options), the cassata, and the cannoli; all three were delicious. The waiters were very kind and helpful. It's definitely a must-visit for anyone visiting Palermo who doesn't want a run-of-the-mill tourist bar.

A great selection of sweet treats and a few savory ones too. Very friendly service.

Gli arancini più buoni che abbia mai mangiato in Italia e in tutta la mia vita. Imbattibili. Anche i gelatti sono deliziosi.

Appena arrivati abbiamo preso un cannolo in questo rinomato bar del centro. Buono ma pienamente nella media. Purtroppo non ci è stato fatto al momento.
