We started off our meal with a stuffed mussel (a typical Bari appetizer), our daughter enjoyed some pasta bolognese which she ate all (good portion size), and I went for Orecchiette con il Ragu Barese... very yummy and very filling.

Exceptional pizza and pasta. Recommended for those who want to eat something authentically local and not touristy.

We went to the restaurant during lunch to make a reservation, but we were advised to come without a reservation!! On the evening of September 9, 2025, after a 20-minute wait, we were given a table (8 p.m.). We waited 30 minutes to place our order. We ordered an aperitif, which we never received, but we received the wine for the meal immediately. The order took 40 minutes to arrive, and that's because we asked several times, since our neighbors who arrived after us were served before us!! Our meal consisted of four Campis and potatoes, while our neighbors received pizza and salad very quickly. We are very disappointed with this service and we recommend ordering pasta and pizza, even though the restaurant claims to specialize in seafood and fish. We left without leaving a tip, which is absolutely not our usual practice. There are other restaurants that offer classy fish and seafood meals without the wait and with decent service. The restaurant should focus on its specialties and not on overbooking. Sorry, but it's just not acceptable!
