We went here after visiting mizio's street food the other day and let me tell you: this is the place to be! (This is where locals eat as well so that is a huge stamp of approval) We both had a grilled sandwich here for lunch and a aperol Spritz and it was delicious! The sandwich is toasted perfectly with a crunchy crust and a soft inside, melting the cheese just perfect. The ingrediënts taste great and fresh. We had a great lunch experience with seats and kind staff to help us.

We discovered this café by chance on our way to the Colosseum. We were served with unparalleled warmth and friendliness. The breakfast was fantastic. We had pancakes, ham and cheese sandwiches, and croissants with fresh fruit. We highly recommend everything. The prices are also very reasonable. We came back for breakfast the next day because everything was so great, and we were delighted again. Our (many) special requests were also received and implemented very helpfully and friendly. We have rarely been so well looked after and served as we were here. Many thanks to Carla and Magdalena for this incomparable hospitality!

Nous sommes allés manger un panini dans cet endroit sur un temps de midi. Le personnel était très gentil et patient malgré le rush du midi. Et nous avons bien mangé (par rapport à d'autres endroits où les paninis sont peu chauffés, ici c'était bien grillé).

We've been coming here for a meal and a drink every time we visit Rome for the past 10 years. A classic Italian bistro with charm. We're always happy to come back :)

Great atmosphere! Coffee was good and the food was very tasty!! Has seating and bathroom (has one western toilet wash room and one non-western toilet - squat kind but has toilet paper to dispose in side-trash bin). Kid friendly. Great place to stop after visiting Santa Maria Marjorie on your way to the Colosseum or Trevi Fountain. Tourist friendly. They speak a little English so be prepared to use Google translate - they appreciate the effort to speak Italian and are incredibly nice. They understand more English than they speak. Would definitely return as a quick stop - the food was so good!

20/10/2025: My favorite restaurant I wish Koreans and Chinese people never knew about... It's selfish, but I want to keep it to myself. (I'm Korean, not racist.) Every dish was perfect, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Every time my order arrived, they asked if I liked it and just kept saying it was good. It's a bit pricey when you're drinking wine and ordering a variety of dishes, but if you're visiting Europe and can't afford that... I wish you'd stop complaining about the price and just go for the 10,000 won noodles you get in Korea.

L'Antica Grotta

28/07/2025: When we want to spend a lovely evening at a restaurant, L'Antica Grotta in Marino is the first name that comes to mind. For over 30 years, Natale and his family have welcomed us with warmth and friendliness, in a traditional setting in the winter (thanks to a fireplace) and a welcoming atmosphere in the summer on their characteristic terrace. In the kitchen, everything is well organized, and the service is prompt: the staff is made up of experienced men and women and enthusiastic young people. The first courses are always plentiful and tasty; I particularly love the excellent stringozzi with chanterelle mushrooms and datterini tomatoes. Among the second courses, a special mention goes to the balsamic vinegar steaks and the grilled lamb. If you're craving a light and easily digestible pizza, you can choose from the many options. At the end, even if you're full, read the dessert menu—the coup de grace you can't pass up. The evening ends with a fair bill for the excellent quality of the food. P.S. Parking is not a problem either, as you can leave your car in the underground car park near the venue.
27/04/2025: Non fatevi ingannare dall' entrata. All interno troverete un.locale ospitale, menù tipico , buono e prezzi onesti. Molto simpatico il cameriere .
