THE CASH BUFFER I am a long-time fan of Taeko and her husband, I have always frequented and continue to frequent their places (Tea in Italy, Ramen) I consider them elegant, kind and enterprising people, so I wanted to go to the Bistró with joy. We were three friends, a young girl welcomed us. I'm not someone who stresses or argues, we waited 1 hour and more to have the tea (the waitress apologized for the delay), all in all we got up calmly and went happily to the checkout... and here we meet the HUNTER, a new figure in the restaurant industry that I still missed! We kindly ask if we could pay for our teas individually, 4.50 euros single, he replies yes, after which he starts fumbling at the cash register, all with a concrete face. He starts to snort at us, failing to give us the receipt and making us weigh our payment. I understand the inconvenience and offer to pay for two, but the other one had a card. Snort, for the pos too, with a dark face, it wasn't clear why he couldn't even with the pos...it made us feel very uncomfortable. Obviously what the fuck is he seeing me again.. I give four stars because I remain a fan of Taeko and I love its places!

I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful Japanese tea house and I was thrilled! The environment is cared for down to the smallest detail, with elegant furnishings and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a break from the daily chaos. The selection of teas is truly vast and of the highest quality. I chose a fragrant white tea, with a delicate and enveloping taste, served with great attention to detail. To accompany it, I tried the dorayaki with azuki red bean jam: soft, sweet enough and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful, ready to recommend the best combination of tea and traditional sweets. An unmissable place for those who love Japanese culture and want to live an authentic tea experience. I will definitely be back! 💖

A reopening with a bang Friendly and always courteous staff, truly top lunch breaks and rich aperitifs. New management update: Excellent for breakfast, but also for lunches and aperitifs. I recommend the Sakura, a particular but excellent drink. The aperitif platter is full of Japanese specialities, a real gem for Varese.

I ordered a good, reasonably priced ginseng. I really liked the friendly atmosphere of the place which, although a little small, was very refined in appearance.

Good coffee, beautiful place (especially the storefront) and friendly staff. Would go by again.

The bar is very nice and the girl behind the counter very kind.. unfortunately the barman, in my opinion, seemed to have difficulty managing 3/4 hot drinks..
