very welcoming environment, friendly staff and typical and very good food. I really liked the stew and tiramisu. I recommend it to those who are not from Trieste like me. The food arrived quickly and hot. in conclusion, an excellent tavern that I recommend to everyone, especially those who are not local and want to try something typical 👍

Fantastic experience. The food was really delicious. We tried the Istrian drumsticks with chicken (very tasty), the Trieste jota (perfectly balanced) and the mixed boiled meat (very high quality ingredients). The desserts were also delicious. The environment is small, welcoming and really well looked after. Courteous and competent staff. I would return to Trieste just to eat here! Super recommended!

Muy buena comida, atendido por sus dueños ,gama media de precios.En la zona de Piazza Oberdan , cerca de la Estación Central .Comida italiana , y triestina .Muy concurrido y animado.Fuimos sin reserva,día de semana , y apenas quedaban un par de mesas disponibles.Recomendable

Con un gruppo di amici ho visitato Trieste, su suggerimento del tour operator, sos viaggi, abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria. Grazioso locale vicino alla stazione, personale molto gentile e professionale. Il cibo ottimo, il nostro menù era composto da: fusi istriani con ragù di pollo, gulasch con patate in teca, tutto buonissimo. Se siete in zona fermatevi e non vi pentirete

16/03/2025: Divine dinner!!!! Historic place to experience. The owners were welcoming and guided us in choosing the courses. Sublime flavours: from the boiled meat, to the enormous cordon blue with an unthinkable name if you're not from the area which melted in your mouth, to the goulash with expertly handmade dumplings, to the desserts also prepared with care. I would have tasted everything on the menu. Highly recommended.
