A typical Roman trattoria, inside it feels like you're back in the '80s... Good traditional dishes with generous portions. I was really impressed with the value for money (a €1 cover charge behind Piazza Navona was unexpected). I spent less than €40 for a first and second course with wine, and given the location and the quality of the food, it was delicious. I recommend the roast lamb. The only flaw is maybe turning down the heating a bit!

What's striking is the lack of cleanliness. Near the pizza oven, there was a smell of stale flour. Brooms and mops were thrown everywhere, and the bathroom was cramped.

We had our best meal in Rome tonight, absolutely delicious! Service was excellent. Explained items, offered suggestions. They also treated us to arrincini. We also had a bottle of wine.

Had a lovely birthday meal here for a large group of families. I did prebook via email in advance. Staff were lovely and helped get my sister’s wheelchair into their restaurant (which is deceptively big and they have a big seating area in the back). They brought us mixed antipasti to begin and we had various pastas, that were all excellent. Would absolutely return.

The starters and main courses are very tasty and reasonably priced, the dessert was dry and not tasty. The place is not noisy, the atmosphere is pleasant, suitable for families and couples. The place is central but not crowded with tourists.

20/11/2025: Before heading to the arena, we stopped for lunch. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You could see the chefs rolling out the noodles and dough right outside the window. The pizza crust and noodles were clearly handmade, with a wonderful chewy texture. You should definitely try it sometime!
