Antico Arco In Roma

We had a great meal at Antico Arco with friends from the neighborhood. Brilliant to spend time in a low-key, welcoming atmosphere that feels and is very much a neighborhood spot. Gabriele was our main point of contact throughout the experience, and did a fantastic job guiding us through the menu and wine list. Of the many delicious items on the menu, the one that still stands out to me is the battuta di carne cruda piemontese, foie gras affumicato e polvere di capperi. Also, if you’re like me, you’ll be tempted to pass over the tiramisu. Don’t - it is now my favorite version of this dessert. Much of the leisure/hospitality space seems driven by instagrammability now. Antico Arco brings a much more genuine vibe, far enough from the center of town to all but guarantee an authentic local Roman moment. And this isn’t one of those commodified “authentic” experiences - it’s the real thing. While it’s certainly been written up and rightly praised, Antico Arco still feels like a secret garden that is known by few and treasured all the more for it.

The food was great. About the waiters I have mixed feelings. They were professionals, paid attention to detail, however they struggled a bit with English and it was a bit tough to order and get information about the food. Probably people that speek Italian would have an wonderful experience all around

Best carbonara we’ve ever had! Complementary breads, starter and desert. Not cheap but worth the cost. An amazing experience and incredible food. Would highly recommended to anyone visiting Rome.

The restaurant is on the Janiculum hill, just a few tens of meters from the fountain with a view of Rome (accessibility is very friendly). The food and service is overall excellent, considering the price policy, I recommend trying the seven-course tasting menu. The Amouse Bouche and both fish starters were quite unique, I give it a 10/10 without any objections. Next came two pastas, while the first stuffed tortellini in a cheese sauce with viniagrette was very tasty and quite light, another pasta carbonara (but perfectly done) filled us up. I would try to remove the second type of paste in the menu. This was followed by an excellent steak and tasty cheese with onions. The dessert was good but too dense to finish. It would like to be more light and fresh as appetizers. 80%

We consider ourselves pilgrims and foodies having traveled 5 continents and been introduced to world class cuisine along the way….service was impeccable the cadence, and attentiveness spot on appropriate…focused yet non intrusive…they did not have the scallop appetizer this evening yet the Chef created a smoked salmon extravaganza that was topped with a tomatoe-infused pan dried tiny crouton that complimented the sauce which blended nicely Tuscan and northern Italian flares…he lobster linguine was impressive with a wonderful green pepper pizza Az served on a-dente perfect pasta….the nut-infusion to the amberjack filet was classic…elegant, warm, and inviting environ

Elegant, refined, in a beautiful location, solid and refined cuisine and dishes, comfortable service and a more than satisfactory wine list, when I went with my wife while waiting, there was care and attention in modifying the course for her. If you want to make a good impression and a walk afterwards, it's unbeatable. Prices are appropriate to the location, quality and overall experience. A thousand thanks!

My girlfriend and I dined at Antico Arco during our trip to Rome and had the most fantastic experience. We ordered the Cheese board, Sea Bass, Tagliolini with Duck Ragu and Carbonara and each dish was better than the next. Rome was our third stop on holiday following London and Paris and we tried many new restaurants along the way. We can say without a doubt Antico Arco was the best service we received on the trip. Special thank you to our servers Federica, Fabio, Edoardo and Stefan. They made the experience extra special as they surprised us with different samplings on the menu throughout our meal and were super attentive to our needs. We would highly recommend dining at Antico Arco to anyone traveling to Rome!

Una joya aún poco descubierta de un restaurante. Nos alojamos en el Donna Camilla y esperamos caminar por la colina para cenar. Difícil de describir la moderna - todavía - acogedor - casual - todavía - elegante decoración, pero la comida es fácil - - mejor relación calidad-precio multi- plato en Roma. De principio a fin, la comida era creativa, deliciosa y de proporciones perfectas. El personal es atento, pero "normal". Solo desventaja puede ser un gran grupo cerca, por lo tanto ruidoso. Pero si te gusta la buena comida, no creemos que te decepcione.
