Highly recommended, this family-run restaurant also boasts excellent pizza. The flavors and textures are just like those you'd find at your grandmother's house. Take advice from Francesco, the friendly host, but everything is delicious. A perfect finish with the fried ricotta and honey cassatella. (The ladies working the tables are incredibly kind and helpful.) The quality/price ratio is extraordinary. Unfortunately, the place is small, so reservations are highly recommended (not ideal for children or strollers, as it's cramped). We'll definitely be back, it's worth it.

A quiet and welcoming place, a traditional trattoria tucked away in the alleys of Castrofilippo's historic center. The four of us sampled several homemade appetizers, two pizzas, and a schiacciata: everything was delicious and prepared with authentic simplicity. The four-cheese pizza, while flavorful, was a bit too oily. The atmosphere is pleasant and familiar; I recommend visiting especially on weekdays, when the service is more attentive and quick, while on weekends the place tends to fill up quickly.

A very nice place and atmosphere with a lovely little terrace lined with fairy lights. The food is delicious, and the owner is happy to let you taste his local specialties. We loved everything, even the house wine 😊 Would definitely do it again. Reservations recommended.

AMAZING! A charming place in the center of town, small (reservations recommended), but lively and authentic. The quality of the food was excellent: we had the owner prepare a tasting of typical Sicilian appetizers with tripe, stew, and roulade, and it was all delicious, clean, and not hard to digest. The ingredients tasted carefully selected and treated with care. The house wine and local liqueurs were also delicious and refined. If the opportunity arises, this will definitely be a regular stop. Special mention to the owner: he's kind, friendly, and approachable, and if he finds the right company, he's charming and fun. Don't be afraid to chat with him; you might learn things you didn't even know! 100% recommended!
