Antichi Sapori In Gallarate

Non lasciatevi ingannare dall'aspetto semplice e poco appariscente: questo ristorante è una perla nascosta per chi ama mangiare bene. Ho iniziato con un antipasto di polpo morbidissimo e presentato in una ricetta davvero sfiziosa, un perfetto equilibrio di sapori che ha conquistato il mio palato. A seguire, un fritto da manuale: croccante al punto giusto e privo di quell'effetto unto che spesso rovina l'esperienza. La cosa che mi ha stupito? Hanno accolto senza problemi la mia richiesta di un fritto fatto solo di ciuffi, una rarità che altrove non riesco a trovare. Anche la pizza è leggera, ben condita e con un impasto davvero ben fatto. Il tocco finale è stato il personale, cordialità che ti fa sentire a casa. Un posto dove la qualità della cucina prevale sull'estetica, e questo è il motivo per cui ci tornerò sicuramente!

A truly special place, price (for the food served) lower than average, in the sense that in addition to being the right portion, the menu was very particular (today first course: gnocchi with spinach, zola and saffron; second course: slice of pork with caponata, a real pleasure for the palate!) and what about the bread? Made by the pizza chef/owner: a spectacle, absolutely worth trying. More than recommended! Really excellent.

A guarantee. 5 minutes from Malpensa airport. An obligatory stop for me when I return from a trip. Very kind staff, they found us a table even though the place was fully booked. Genuine food of excellent quality at normal prices. I recommend the meatballs with parmesan cream, paccheri with meat sauce, scialatielli with clams.

Excellent dinner and a wonderful welcome. Fantastic pizza and excellent cuisine and their Apulian specialties too! The staff always friendly and helpful. I'll be back

I chose this restaurant - being in the area for work - attracted by the reviews I read on Google Maps. I can only confirm the previous reviews which, for the majority, are excellent. The food is exquisite, prepared with care, from quality ingredients to plating. The dishes are good to eat and beautiful to look at and it is truly appreciable that there is a vegetarian choice for those who, like me, do not consume meat. Intrigued by the beautiful pizzas that passed in front of me, I asked the nearby diners if they were good: they replied that they are excellent, so I will come back to try them soon. The environment is truly welcoming, pleasing to the eye, well-kept. Due to the way it is structured, the restaurant is well suited for convivial work and/or business meetings, for romantic lunches or dinners and for small groups of people. I would advise against choosing large noisy tables, because it doesn't seem like the right environment to me. The young owners are professional, dynamic and brilliant in the right measure. The bill seemed reasonable to me, well balanced and correct in terms of quality/price ratio. I would recommend it without a shadow of a doubt!
