Antiche Mura In Riva del garda

Went for dinner with high expectations and were not dissappointed! We had the 8 course meal with wine pairing and it was superb, excellent service and cozy surroundings.

We booked Antiche Mure for a night on our way from Gardaland to Bolzano. For the amount of money that we paid for a "chalet", I have to say that we definitely overpaid. Room was infested with mosquitoes as someone left the bathroom window open, which we thought was weird, but then we realised why. As soon as we closed the window and killed as much mosquitoes as possible, the room started smelling horribly of sewage. Now we had 2 options. Either sleep with the blood sucking bugs or close the door of the bathroom and hope that the smell doesn't seep in the bedroom. We chose the latter. The chalet has a big room with a very dodgy inefficient AC, no coffee making facilities, a crooked sofa bed and a 21" TV/ monitor 😀 Parking is at an extra €10 which i didn't mind paying because it's a lockup garage. Reception was closed at 5pm and so had no way to tell them about our room issues. Breakfast was ok. Definitely would not stay there again.

Very good restaurant, generous portions and good quality. I recommend it.

Short but intense. Our stay was just one night. Ideal base for our excursions to Ponale and the Church of S. Barbara. Clean, welcoming and very kind. Practically in the center with convenient parking.

Second time I stay and have dinner at Antiche Mura, a very convenient location for getting around Riva on foot, the reserved parking (for a fee) is essential given that there are few car parks in the surrounding area and it takes a lot of luck to find a free one Comfortable beds, excellent cleanliness, excellent value for money The only point I would like to make is the lack of shelves on which to place personal items and hooks for hanging shower towels. Rich and varied breakfast, with the possibility of having savory dishes as well as a sweet selection The dinner is amazing, especially the welcome entree leaves you speechless with its combination of flavors and presentation Last, but not least, the kindness and professionalism of the staff and the owner, who I had to disturb out of hours for information... he responded immediately, solving the problem in an instant Congratulations to all the staff! Well done!

Buon b&b a due passi dal centro di Riva; camera "Bastioni" molto semplice ma pulita ed in ordine, con bagno molto piccolo. Letto comodissimo. Colazione molto ricca in generale (affettati, uova, formaggi su richiesta compresi nel prezzo), ma a differenza delle altre volte in cui ho soggiornato per me (intollerante a soia e a tutti I derivati del latte) questa volta non ho trovato nulla di specifico per me (bevanda di riso o avena, brioches vegane, dolcetti vari). Quindi colazione piuttosto convenzionale con te ed affettati e pane con marmellate confezionate; questo nonostante avessi segnalato alla prenotazione e ribadito al check-in. Peccato, in passato avevo trovato molto anche per me.

Small and dated rooms! but welcoming and clean, good breakfast, strategic location!!!!
