We have often been to the Antiche Mura restaurant and every time we ate very well. There is a large selection of meat, always cooked in an excellent way and with quality ingredients. Last time we also tried the meat sushi, a novelty for us, and it was really tasty and well made. The place is welcoming and the staff is kind. It is always a pleasure to return!

We stopped at this restaurant because we were attracted by the scent and care of the plants... and to tell the truth it was a great idea. Delicious dishes, refined flavors, attention to detail. Compliments to the staff. Recommended.

We recently dined at Antichemura on a visit to Paestum To view the Greek temples there… Five star service… Fantastic wine selection… Huge selection of high-quality beef from around the world… We had Argentinian Ribeye, perfectly cooked to our liking, accompanied by fresh Salad salads and delicious bread… A chocolatey dessert topped off our evening… Bravo! 😁

Very nice and welcoming restaurant. Good quality food, excellent service. Prices undoubtedly above average. The manager, with a Cracco-like manner and Cannavacciuolo-like appearance, is a very kind and competent person.

Siamo tornati in questo ristorante convinti delle sue potenzialità e non ci siamo sbagliati. Eravamo già stati in questo ristorante l’anno precedente, purtroppo in una serata non molto felice, quella di Ferragosto 24. Avevamo già allora notato la qualità dei piatti serviti, però c’erano stati un po’ di problemi con il servizio. In quest’ultima occasione, alla confermata qualità dei piatti, si è aggiunto anche un impeccabile servizio e quindi d’obbligo arrivano i 5 pallini. Ampia scelta di tagli di carne accompagnata da una ricca cantina. Giovanni, il titolare davvero professionale e super gentile, vi accoglierà con il sorriso e vi spiegherà tutti i segreti della meravigliosa selezione di carni. Staff Gentile, rapporto qualità prezzo buono. Location molto carina, proprio di fianco ai meravigliosi templi di Paestum. Consigliato

The steak that I had was fantastic…although the pasta my wife had was average. The service is shocking and they even forgot about my desert….when asked to pay they came running with the desert…..on top of this they charged us a cover fee of 18€ per person (36EUR for both of us). The service charge (Coperto) is mentioned in the menu….however the menu is only in Italien and as a foreigner this can easily be missed. I suggested to the owner that he should mention the cover charge in English on the menu, but was dismissed in a rude way. I have no problem with a service charge….however, I find 18€/Person excessive and coupled with the bad service I would not recommend this restaurant.

29/07/2025: Having heard from several friends about a place where the food is good, I chose this place, confident I wouldn't go wrong. The place is beautiful, the service is exquisite, but it fell short of expectations. The fish is excellent, but the first courses are disappointing; the experience is lacking. We shared a swordfish appetizer with eggplant cream. The fish was excellent, but the eggplant lacked something to enhance and enhance the swordfish. The two first courses were good and edible, but I would have added a tarallo-style crunch to the spaghetti with anchovy sauce, and some anchovies and marjoram to enhance the flavor. The pasta with Cetarese pesto is missing a spice other than basil, garlic, oil, and pine nuts. It needed a crunchy touch with almonds and thyme, along with some dried tomato powder. Serving someone who cooks is difficult, and I understand. We didn't choose the second course for fear of being disappointed again. Anyway, thanks for serving us.

Ristorante Saraceno d'Oro

06/07/2025: My husband I were in Italy for almost 3 weeks and this was easily our top third best restaurant we ate at! The pizza was out of this world as was the linguine zucchini dish. I tried to get the recipe but no luck so I’ll have to try to recreate it at home from memory. This restaurant is a must!
05/07/2025: We got lasagna and seafood pasta. Both were great. The tiramisu was very delicious. Our server was also so awesome. We were sat right away. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
