Antica Vineria In Prato

Spectacular dinner! Tagliolini with fresh sea urchins (which I haven't eaten so good even in Sicily), paccheri with phenomenal crab and a crazy fried fish, I've never eaten like this! Everything was exceptional, the girls serving were very kind and attentive and what can I say is the fantastic chef Umberto. The ancient winery is a place of the heart, where the food and the selection of wines are made with love, and the result can be seen!

This place is a guarantee, we have been frequenting it for years now and every time we are amazed at the goodness and quality of the dishes. Everything is always excellent from appetizers to desserts... especially the cheesecake, always top notch and not the nauseating kind.

Convenient place for lunch break being close to offices and schools. Quite large but better to book. Tuscan and non-Tuscan dishes, quite abundant, especially the first courses. I took a first course where the pasta had not been drained well, there was a lot of water. As a good second course, the seared tuna, accompanied by too spicy chicory (not indicated on the menu). We didn't appreciate the desserts so much: grandma's cake is a lemon cake with a little cream, the cheesecake has a sponge base with topping... Normal prices, now having lunch for less than €20 is a utopia.

This restaurant/winery is a nice place to come and eat, one of the best in town without a doubt. The portions are generous, the flavors very good, the price low, perhaps higher on average than other restaurants but it's worth it.

A Prato c’è sorriso, qualità del cibo e buon prezzo. Gentilezza all’accoglienza. Menu’ da ristorante stellato ( e sei a mezzogiorno). Servizio ottimo e veloce. Prezzo ultra buono. Da riprovare sempre in area Prato.
