Exceptional. Fantastic food, super service (the whole family), beautiful atmosphere.

Antica Trattoria San Giovanni was a perfect choice for lunch between my wife and I, after a long carefree day at Lake Piana degli Albanesi, we ate an appetizer of local cold cuts and cheeses with the addition of honey, excellent quality food and abundant accompanied by delicious local re-milled bread, after which we chose a first course of excellent workmanship, my wife had a risotto with pesto, burrata, cherry tomatoes, shrimp, very tasty and abundant, instead I had a plate of linguine sciuè sciuè seasoned with capers, dried tomatoes, pistachio and breadcrumbs, oil, also very tasty and abundant, with two glasses of red wine, finally we chose a dessert with chantilly cream and croccantini as a side, very delicate and light flavor. This is what we really appreciated about Trattoria San Giovanni: the professional and courteous service, our opinions were kindly asked every time, even by the chef. It's a wonderful place that my wife and I carefully chose because it's family-run, and we were therefore thrilled and happy with our choice. The atmosphere is quiet and clean, comfortable and welcoming. We're sure we'll return to try some other dishes, or a main course we didn't choose but will try again next time. Many thanks to the owner, who welcomed us so kindly.

It was an amazing meal, one of the best here in Sicily. We didn’t have to wait long and everything was delicious but especially the antipasti and the meat. What an honour to visit an arberesh restaurant, it will be in my mind for a long time!

As soon as I arrived with my family you can see immediately that it is a nice place where you already think that you eat very well... In fact it is like this because the food is really good but you lose more than now just for 3 dishes including one that they forgot but the important thing is that you fix it and all in all for me this place is equivalent to 3 stars

Cibo locale da favola Prodotti genuini a km 0 Cortesissimi dal titolare, la moglie, la signora sul terrazzino che ha risposto al na saluto in maniera più calorosa, era la mamma del titolare. Tra tutti i ristoranti in cui siamo andati, questo è sicuramente l'esperienza migliore. Sono andato con i miei figli e tutta la mia famiglia per il pranzo a pasquetta e siamo rimasti meravigliati. Antipasto sulla media, pasta ottima, grigliata di carne e CANNOLI eccezionali. A parer mio, i migliori cannoli e la miglior grigliata mangiata in Sicilia. Proprietari e personale molto affabile, ristorante pulito e località bellissima.Dopo aver fatto i complimenti allo chef, ci temevo a mettere la mia prima recensione.
