Been there many times since 2000. Unchanged and always excellent, fresh, friendly and authentic. Can be busy so either side of peak is recommended. Take a Prestia and Commande bus from Palermo station arrive 13-30 and depart 16-00 ish. One minute walk to the restaurant. Take a walk around the village afterwards!

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've ever had in Sicily. The food was outstanding—so fresh and full of flavor, truly a culinary highlight of my trip. Every dish tasted like it was made with the utmost care. The owners were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a perfect dining experience. It felt like I was enjoying a meal with family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience in Sicily!

We had our dinner here on the 12 July 2023. Called to make reservations, helpful staff answered the call and manage to understand my broken Italian. From the moment we step into the restaurant the staff were welcoming and friendly. Most of them are unable to speak in English but the hospitality in this restaurant was on a different level. We asked for recommendations from the chef and servers, and was very happy with our meal. The portion was hearty and food was good.

Ieri sera abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria per la primissima volta. Il cibo ottimo e la familiarità dei proprietari rendono questo posticino eccezionale ed incantevole . Abbiamo cenato a base di pesce ma la trattoria offre anche una cena a base di carne. Tutto realmente ottimo, cucinato da mani esperti ad un prezzo REALMENTE CONVENIENTE!! Piana degli albanesi è anche una località dove se uno vuole evadere dal caldo afoso è un posto ideale. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Complimenti! Grazie!

In un viaggio da Eraclea Minoa a Palermo ci siamo fermati a Portella della Ginestra e abbiamo pranzato qui; ci hanno aspettato senza problemi nonostante avessimo un ritardo di più di 30 minuti (e avevamo prenotato per le 13.45). Ottimo tutto, dagli antipasti al dolce. Atmosfera informale.
