Trattoria posta all'inizio della cittadina. Ben curata e pulita. Menù della tradizione ed allo stesso tempo particolare. Per primo abbiamo preso pici al ragù toscano molto buoni. Secondi faraona ripiena al sapore di prugne e guancia di vitellone con dadolata di verdure. Il tutto accompagnato da buon vino rosso di Montepulciano. Prezzo nella norma.

We found that most of the high rated restaurants in Montepulciano were full and would not seat anyone without a reservation and we stumbled upon Antica Trattoria Il Marzocco for a delightful dinner in the heart of Montepulciano. We ate outside on a very nice night and the service was superb. We enjoyed the local traditional Pici Pasta with beef and a sliced beef dish. The tasty desert was lemon delight with chocolate chips and strawberry sauce. The menu is reasonably priced to make this a wonderful spontaneous Tuscan culinary adventure.
