Antica Trattoria Etnea In Catania

Luckily, I was specifically looking for a type of food on the map, that's how I ended up at this restaurant. I really liked the food, my girlfriend had grilled veal, which was also very delicious. I thought I would write a review because I'm satisfied, then I saw that the place only has 2.5 stars 😅 The service is really cute.. you have to wave to finally get noticed, but they are polite and kind. The price couldn't be better, almost everything is 9 euros, and there are photos for all the dishes, so there are no surprises (+ how long it takes to prepare them) Thank you very much

Contrary to the numerous negative reviews we read after placing our order, the pizzas were good, the ingredients fresh, the service welcoming, and the price reasonable.

A lovely old trattoria located on the main street. Nice terrace. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Affordable prices.

The food was fine, nothing special. The gnocchi were actually quite salty. The dessert, however, was very tasty!

I passed by and decided to return . I looked at the menu and had seen the special deals they have . A fish menu you choose a fish pasta .I had spaghetti vongole followed by a tomato salad and fritto misto including a soft drink at 20 euros .my daughter had a 9 euro deal .She had bruscetta followed by french fries and a large pizza plus drink. For two people the meal was 30 euros .The food was excellent The inside of the trattoria was nicely decorated .This is a little gem .The food was amazing. The staff are fantastic ..The quality of the food was very good .I will return again tomorrow .🙏

Well! The only thing I can say is that making a digestible dough doesn't take science, but determination. This would make a good pizza anyway, and for the same price. The cutlet and gnocchi are good, but if you're hungry, you can stop and eat here. The price is fair.

A wonderful restaurant with large portions of food, a lot of variety on the menu, with little waiting time and polite staff and the interior of the store is Amazing. I highly recommend it, we have dined and we really liked it.

I wonder why the reviews are so bad, because we had a fantastic meal here! The pasta bolognese was delicious, and so was the bruschetta. The location is beautiful, and I have no complaints about the service: they were simply friendly.
