Antica Trattoria e Pizzeria da Peppino In Napoli

We went to this trattoria and pizzeria because we were shopping in Naples near Via Toledo when we stumbled upon it in the afternoon, far from the usual lunch or dinner hours. We were greeted with genuine kindness and a smile from chef Vincenzo, who clearly had just earned a break, but he welcomed us wonderfully! That said (which is no small thing), we ate fish dishes, and everything was cooked to perfection 👍 with great skill by someone who loves their work. Congratulations, Vincenzo! I absolutely recommend it and I will gladly return. The place is spotless, wheelchair accessible, with outdoor tables, and prices are also below average for the area. The menu is very extensive, something for everyone, and you can see it in full in the photos.

We were here on Saturday, April 25th, it was already after 9 pm, we were a group of 16 people and we found this place by chance, they were very quick to set us up in an internal room reserved just for us, we ate both pizza and restaurant (spaghetti al cartoccio, mixed fried fish, etc.) .. Everything very good, generous portions, normal prices. The waiter Roki was the best!

What a hidden gem. While the rest of Naples was incredibly crowded with tourists, we stumbled into a quiet side alley and found this place and I’m so glad we did. The pizza was absolutely outstanding, easily the best I’ve ever had. Even compared to homemade pizza from scratch, this was on another level. The ingredients tasted fresh, the crust was perfect, and everything just worked. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It also wasn’t overly busy, which was a nice contrast to the chaos in the city center. If you’re in Naples and want an authentic, high-quality pizza experience away from the crowds, this place is a must-visit. 10/10.

Very good pizza and pasta, prices OK!

Delicious pizza and pasta, in the narrow streets of the Spanish Quarter. The bill came without us asking for it, with annoyances not to be late...! For the area, probably one of the good choices.

Aside from the fact that the SPANISH QUARTER is an extraordinary place, we had a wonderful dinner, with a courtesy and kindness that is well-known in Campania and especially in NAPLES. I recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the area.
