I had a Bolognese sauce; they took quite a while to take our order, but not long to cook it. It was good, but nothing amazing. Prices were normal.

Pizza was good, but be aware that the smoke and noise of the continuous movement of scooters just some inches from the front tables are part of the experience. Other think is that they charged 2€ per person on the table("Coperto"). It wasn't informed anywhere outside the local or by the employees. When asking the just said: "It's Napoli."

Relatively quiet section in the Spanish Quarter, streetside and indoor seating. Menu looked good. Had Spaghetti alla Vongole and Spaghetti Bolognese. Food was rather bland, skimpy on the tiny clams, and service was so so. Lots of other choices in this area.

All in all, it was okay. Nicely located on a side street, you can eat in peace. In our opinion, the service was rather poor; we didn't feel particularly welcome. The food tasted decent, but definitely fell short of expectations. Nevertheless, a visit to Peppino is generally recommended, as the atmosphere is pleasant and the prices are fair. They even accommodated a special request.

The beauty of eating on the street, people sitting at tables, almost seemed like a very old Calindri ad where he drank a bitter on the street amidst all the cars. I really liked it.

07/06/2026: We ordered a Japanese pork cutlet ，but it was just a very thin slice of meat with no side dishes. We also ordered a bowl of rice, and we were only told the price at checkout, where it turned out to be €7.50. We felt this was quite expensive and not clearly communicated in advance.
