30/09/2024: Excelente lugar. Mi esposa y yo tuvimos una cena maravillosa en el restaurante IL Barroccio en Florencia. Teníamos filete florentino y raviolis con langosta y camarones. Fue genial. El postre también estaba delicioso. Gianni que es el propietario y el chef es una persona muy amable y agradable. Recomendamos encarecidamente este lugar. 5 de 5

29/07/2024: I’m devastated that I only found this place at the very end of my Florence trip- wow! The restaurant may not look like much (I’m pretty sure we were the only ones dining at the time) but the food was incredible! The waitor was so friendly and we ended up talking about many topics for ~30 minutes after our bill was paid but the real star was the food. The caprese appetizer was lovely with the mozzarella tasting extremely fresh and the main dishes (gnocchiti/lobster ravioli) was excellent. Tasted incredibly authentic and my personal favorite pasta I’ve had in Italy yet. My only regret about this meal is that I wasn’t hungry enough to order a second course. The portions were fair for the price and if I had skipped lunch I would’ve been able to eat more. We wanted to come to the location again the following day for lunch however unfortunately they are closed Mondays. Highly recommend! A hidden gem for sure.
