Every time I come to Di Pietro, my mind goes back to the smells, the atmosphere, the tastes of a time that no longer exists... of when I was a child and came with my parents or my grandmother... the feeling is that of being at home... typical and tasty traditional cuisine... courtesy and kindness... and in the summer you can eat outside, something not to be underestimated... don't forget to try the old-fashioned pizza alla teglia and the chef's famous and inimitable croccante...

Eating at this trattoria feels like you're transported back to the trattorias of yesteryear, where the super host is a special character who's hard to negotiate with 🤗. In the kitchen, his wife Teresa and daughter Anita make this place a place where atmosphere and tradition come together to delight you from appetizers to dessert 🎉

Trattoria Di Pietro was a pleasant discovery, found almost by chance on Google.
We visited on the eve of a holiday (August 14th) and had a wonderful time. We dined outside, and thanks to the good music and dim lighting, the atmosphere was truly exceptional.
The food was very good: we ordered an appetizer and two first courses. I personally really enjoyed the cecatielli with broccoli and zucchini flowers. The rest of the menu was excellent as well.
The prices are average: we spent about €40 each for an appetizer, first courses (one per person, shared), a second course to share, water (lots of it!), and a bottle of wine.
The added value is definitely the owner: a delightful, kind, and very knowledgeable person. I was there with my entire family, including an 8-year-old nephew, who was fascinated.
A perfect place for those who aren't looking to save money but want an authentic, unhurried dining experience.

We took a cooking class at this restaurant and they treated us like family. My kids got to go back into the kitchen and make pizza, and the whole family was so gracious and kind. The food was amazing, including the best prosciutto we've ever had and really delicious wine.
