Antica Trattoria dell'Uva In Monza

For the first time in this trattoria with retro furnishings that match the dishes offered from Lombard cuisine I found courtesy and fast service. Plus what I ate was good. I can only point out that in my opinion the price of €4 cover charge and €2.50 for coffee are a little high

We didn't stay because we live in the area. The restaurant is a pleasant discovery, typical local cuisine. Highly recommended, prices in line with the quality of the products. Kudos to the owner and staff.

Charming location on a quiet piazza in Monza old town. Owner tries hard to please, his wife less so. Rooms are pretty basic, with a pronounced lack of electrical outlets for recharging devices. Shower was tiny. Main complaint was the stuffiness in our room (a/c turned off for the season). Left windows partly open to cool things down, but, with no window screens, woke up in the morning to find the room literally filled with mosquitoes -- some of who had clearly just enjoyed a blood meal. Hard to justify a 3-star rating (at least for the hotel; didn't eat in the restaurant). Maybe if they put in some window screens...
