The beauty of this tavern is the variety of dishes. Different side dishes compared to the area and an impressive variety of meat.
Unfortunately, not eating red meat, we opted for rabbit and cockerel, both too dry, especially the rabbit.
The side dishes/second courses are very tasty. We had fried porcini mushrooms and fried sage, both of which I have never eaten fried. The first ones are good but after a while they get boring, I imagine due to the difference in consistency. Sage, I loved it.
Finally, a portion of roast potatoes, nothing special.
They use a very good local oil. We appreciated it so much.
The prices are not typical of a tavern, a little high.
Pleasant service. An extremely nice and capable lady served us.
The atmosphere is rustic but not too much. In my opinion it would be better to remove the neon lights and use warmer lights.
Review made after 3 months:
I stayed at this restaurant again because I wanted to give it a second chance. I liked it even more. Now the porcini mushrooms are in season, I found them perfect. They were delicious, very fresh. In fact, I then had a pumpkin soup with porcini mushrooms, simple as I like it, tasty and excellent.
Courgette flan with parmesan fondue, delicate and very good.
Good desserts. The chocolate cake with pears was very good, but you couldn't taste the rum and the crème anglaise needs improvement.
Pistachio cream good, but really too sweet, it tastes a lot like white chocolate.
I will go back again and again and again 😉

We came to this restaurant to try the Japanese Wagyu menu, what can I say, everything is delicious and delicate on the palate combined with glasses of quality champagne, even the traditional menu is still an excellent alternative, the staff are kind, polite and not intrusive, paper of top wines

We have just left, what can I say, a magnificent place, more than excellent food, very kind and approachable staff, they make you feel at ease in every way, especially Mrs. Milena. We will definitely return and recommend it 100%. Excellent price/quality!!!

A small trattoria that we found by chance and we really ate very very good meat, we tried a wagyu menu and it was delicious, phenomenal service and the lady who served us the dishes explained to us in detail everything we are going to eat, what Next I will publish some photos of the food and the place, really if I have the possibility I will return for sure, I recommend it with all my heart. Thank you all for delighting us with some delicious dishes.

Located in a small hamlet that is easy to reach with the help of Google Maps, a wonderful trattoria where you can enjoy excellent traditional Tuscan cuisine (including cuts of meat of all kinds and places cooked on real embers)... The simple but comfortable environment attention to every detail does not distract from the purpose of the visit: food and wine... The extensive menu with excellent proposals from the Tuscan tradition, but what is immediately striking is the presence of various "refrigerators" for storage/ maturation of the meats which are of various origins and maturation, a true marvel and then the wine list full of the best Tuscan labels... The attentive and prepared service gives the right advice for the choice of dishes and the subscription with the right glass of wine (the Bordeaux mezze are also present on the menu, which is not for everyone), to give a pinch of extra spice to the typical Florentine cordiality which never hurts during the meal... Highly recommended...
