I had an artist's maturation (very tender) and a wagyu ozaki (an experience), all excellent, including the service. Very attentive and competent for gluten-free. I'll be back to taste the Rubia Gallega ;)

Hidden Gem in Tuscany that we stumbled across by chance! But definitely worth going out of your way to eat here.. from the moment we arrived to leaving was just an exquisite experience. Very friendly and good English as we are travelling from Ireland 🇮🇪... the lady of the house took the time to explain each different steak and the breed and location it came from! If you don't wish to have steak there are many more options on the menu! The menu is in both Italian and English. First class and wl definitely save it for a return visit in the future! Thank you again ❤️

Il menù è molto vario hanno anche menù Bistecca o altri tipi di carni un po’ particolari Noi abbiamo scelto il menù waygu da 185€ Le porzioni sono medie ( Forse un po’ troppo scarso il tortello che 2 sono un po’ pochi visto pure quanto so boni!) La carne alla griglia ottima Per mio gusto personale non lo rifarei perché i crudi non mi sono particolarmente piaciuti in quanto la carne risulta troppo grassa e poco saporita ( essendo abituata a chianine o carni molto saporose!) ma è un gusto personale perché il prodotto si sente che è di qualità Tornerei a provare altre carni Unica pecca se devo proprio trovare un neo Ho prenotato circa un mese prima e ho fatto attenzione in quanto il mio compagno è allergico al formaggio e mi aspettavo in un mese che riuscissero a comporre un menu per questa particolare esigenza ma così non è stato, ci siamo limitati a togliere i formaggi dalla tartare e dagli gnocchi ( così che quest ultimi erano in bianco!) Solo che io non sono intollerante ma essendo il menù per 2 mi sono trovata a dover mangiare pure io senza formaggi ( a me piacciono molto) Onestamente questa cosa un po’ mi ha fatto rimanere perché in ogni modo io ti sto pagando un menù 185€ ( escluse bevande!) e credo che un po’ più di attenzione ci sarebbe voluta Alla mia richiesta di avere le salse mi è stato portato un ciotolino a parte con un po’ di salsa; Ecco questa è una cosa che a mente poi fredda mi è dispiaciuta perché appunto mi sono fatta 400km per venire, ho prenotato un mese prima avrei gradito da parte del personale almeno di distinguere i piatti e non dovermi trovare a mangiare gli gnocchi in bianco! Però per il complesso devo giudicare positivamente in quanto siamo stati bene ed i prodotti sono eccellenti

The beauty of this tavern is the variety of dishes. Different side dishes compared to the area and an impressive variety of meat. Unfortunately, not eating red meat, we opted for rabbit and cockerel, both too dry, especially the rabbit. The side dishes/second courses are very tasty. We had fried porcini mushrooms and fried sage, both of which I have never eaten fried. The first ones are good but after a while they get boring, I imagine due to the difference in consistency. Sage, I loved it. Finally, a portion of roast potatoes, nothing special. They use a very good local oil. We appreciated it so much. The prices are not typical of a tavern, a little high. Pleasant service. An extremely nice and capable lady served us. The atmosphere is rustic but not too much. In my opinion it would be better to remove the neon and use warmer lights. Review made after 3 months: I stayed at this restaurant because I wanted to give it a second chance. I liked it even more. Now the porcini mushrooms are in season, I found them perfect. They were delicious, very fresh. In fact, I then had a pumpkin soup with porcini mushrooms, simple as I like it, tasty and excellent. Courgette flan with parmesan fondue, delicate and very good. Good desserts. The chocolate cake with pears was very good, but you couldn't taste the rum and the crème anglaise needs improvement. Pistachio cream good, but really too sweet, it tastes a lot like white chocolate. I will go back again and again and again 😉

OPTIMAL We came to this restaurant to try the Japanese Wagyu menu, what can I say, everything is delicious and delicate on the palate combined with glasses of quality champagne, even the traditional menu is still an excellent alternative, the staff are kind, polite and not intrusive, paper of top wines GOOD

We have just left, what can I say, a magnificent place, more than excellent food, very kind and approachable staff, they make you feel at ease in every way, especially Mrs. Milena. We will definitely return and recommend it 100%. Excellent price/quality!!!

21/03/2025: Found by chance, because we arrived late in Florence due to heavy traffic and the place where we had booked dinner warned us that the kitchen closed at 10 pm, so we stopped at this place found by chance on the street, near the Medici Chapels, attracted by the positive reviews in the Routard guide. We tried both first courses, I had ribollita, and a Florentine steak in the center, with side dishes and dessert. Everything was excellent, with more than reasonable waiting times and a good quality-price ratio. A note of merit for the wide selection of wines by the glass in all price ranges, for the very good and tasty apple pie and for the guy who served us the first night we were there, professional but also very friendly and ironic. Not so much the waitress who served us the second time we returned, very rigid and reserved, I understand the tiredness of the weekend in a tourist city, but when you are dealing with the public a smile and a little kindness don't hurt
18/03/2025: Absolutely recommended place. Very good food, consistent price and really helpful waiters.
