We were there yesterday for lunch, the first impact is not the best, especially with the owner, I think, who walks around and seems to watch what you do, but the food is absolutely top. Fast times and good portions. Thanks to the very kind lady who served us.

Very good food in the fish specialty. Spaghetti with lobster top. Small but friendly environment. Special service, a bit of shouting from the kitchen but it's there when you're working and that's also the beauty of it.

Si torna a quei profumi e sapori che oramai ci accompagnano da anni: e per festeggiare l’anniversario di matrimonio dei miei genitori si sceglie il meglio e da Ermanno non sbagli mai.

Veniam qui ogni tanto principalmente per il bollito, ma già che si è lì un buon primo ci scappa sempre. Questa volta, due tortellini (rigorosamente in brodo), un piatto di passatelli, una tagliatellina bianca e verde con carciofi e guanciale. Un pignoletto e una barbera. Si chiude con due dolci e un caffè. Conto di 40 euro più che abbordabile. Molto bene.

02/06/2025: We stopped by one Sunday by chance, looking for fresh air away from the city of Bologna. With such a rustic name we expected traditional cuisine. Instead we found fresh fish to convince the mouth of a Bari native, and recipes composed with simple ingredients but with the same art of a painter. Then Beppe, host and guide, was more than welcoming, so much so that we let time pass, and resumed the journey only at the first golden lights of sunset. The Campiaro barns are there in front and the exhibition of the works of Morandi's students amazed us, but perhaps we understood something important about the spirit of the place (thanks Milena). 14/06/2025: The place is welcoming, it has something lived-in and authentic. The staff is kind and the service is good. The menu is not kilometer-long, the right proposal to meet the favor of those who want to taste something typical. The house appetizer is excellent, various tastings that fill you up properly. The off-menu is interesting, they offered us black truffle and at my request the chef agreed to prepare tagliatelle with butter and truffle, a delicacy. The quality-price ratio is noteworthy, being in the center of Bologna it is unusually high. I highly recommend it.
08/06/2025: Local food, not bad but nothing to rave about either. Wine list a bit poor, service good and prices average
