Antica Trattoria Con Calma In Torino

Typical Piedmontese place, good and genuine food. A little inconvenient to reach and parking not very easy but it's worth it.

All excellent dishes, excellent wine advice, an aperitif with a delicious Torino-Milano, super courteous and friendly staff. We will return for the Piedmontese mixed fried food!

I was invited to this place for a friend's event and I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality cuisine based on Piedmontese tradition but with that something original that makes it modern. All accompanied by a quality cellar and a very elegant and private setting. I will definitely be back to try the bagnacauda because they suggest it is the main dish in the cooler season. Well done.

On the occasion of a birthday, I booked at this restaurant at short notice and managed to find a seat. The staff was very helpful in satisfying my requests, punctual and attentive service, excellent quality food, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED.

Sometimes my family and I go looking for restaurants where we can spend a pleasant evening, and this trattoria just outside the center of Turin gave us a very pleasant evening and we enjoyed it. excellent dishes, the staff present and reserved but also sociable. The place is very nice and frequented by good people. It's a place that we paid a lot of money for, we'll definitely be back.

Dinner with friends to celebrate a birthday, very pleasant and quiet location. Courteous staff. We ate very well and the cake prepared for the occasion was also very good. Having all taken 2 dishes plus cake, water, wine, coffee and bitters, the price of €48 each seemed more than adequate.

I struggled to get there, but everything was rewarded by the excellent mid-August menu and the excellent table service.

Consigliato, siamo andati per sfuggite al caldo della città, e in effetti la sistemazione all’esterno si è rilevata perfetta, buona la cucina e il servizio conto in linea uniche pecche dono il parcheggio e la costruzione che alla luce del sole mostra un po troppi difetti e trascuratezza.

Sono stata in questo locale con il mio compagno per una ricorrenza da festeggiare, sembrava perfetto per una serata intima e "con calma". Le aspettative erano molto alte, ho chiamato lunedì per prenotare per il sabato pensando erroneamente che chiamando con anticipo avremmo avuto un tavolino riservato (errore mio che non l'ho chiesto espressamente), ci è stato assegnato un tavolino all'ingresso dove arrivava un sacco di aria fredda e che abbiamo chiesto di cambiare, il personale ha accolto molto gentilmente la nostra richiesta e ci siamo accomodati a un tavolino interno. Il cibo, presentato come raffinato ed elegante, in realtà è abbastanza neutro. Non è eccellente, non è scarso. Ho preso una polenta con gorgonzola e nocciole, non sono riuscita ad apprezzare il gusto delle nocciole, sembravano non esserci. Il personale è molto gentile, ma costante indaffarato e di fretta (cosa che si ripercuote sull'ambiente e contrasta con l'idea di cenare in un luogo romantico). Mi dispiace dare questo feedback, ma credo che il posto abbia grandi potenzialità ad oggi inespresse.
