Antica Trattoria Con Calma In Torino

Found by chance, on a low hill near my house, elegant and friendly. Excellent wine selection and fantastic mixed fried fish. The name alone says it all....CON CALMA (SLOWLY) and you can truly eat calmly 👍👍👍

A pleasant Sunday lunch with friends. Upon arrival, you're forced to park on the street, but the restaurant provides staff to guide guests and customers to park where permitted and where it doesn't obstruct traffic. So, we're off to a good start, because there can be difficulties, but their willingness to help customers is indicative of the fact that they work hard (not just in the kitchen) to make the experience enjoyable. We sat on the second terrace since the main one was clearly full. I really enjoyed the food and the dishes. The service was practically impeccable, also because, in my experience, when there are a large group, the difficulties caused by the customers' various requests are more numerous than any possible shortcomings of the staff. I really enjoyed the mixed antipasto and the boiled meat, but the guinea fowl leg was a bit less so. Very good value for money. Highly recommended, but given the attendance and numerous reviews, this place is already very well known. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes, perhaps the first courses that, by choice, I didn't have the chance to appreciate, but according to my fellow diners, those too deserve 5 stars.

I came here for the first time this evening. Excellent location, impeccable service, top-notch courtesy and customer service. Truly excellent food. Impeccable quality and price. I recommend coming.

The food is always good, with classic Piedmontese fare, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone.

We had dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything was perfect, from the location to the service and the menu. The food was excellent. I highly recommend it.

The house appetizer was truly delicious. The place was welcoming and very special, as was the waiter. I was looking for a Piedmontese restaurant, and if I'd stopped at the appetizer, it would have been 5 stars! The first course, although good, didn't quite deliver the visual impression it promised. The dessert was excellent! I'd definitely return to give it 5 stars.
