lost in the hills of the Modena Apennines, a beautiful genuine agriturismo, where you can eat traditional Emilian food as it once was (tasty and at honest prices) immersed in nature. Honorable mention the fresh pasta evidently homemade by hand.

A small restaurant that fully shows its roots in the Modena area, with a wide range of dishes on offer.

I have rarely felt so comfortable. Delicious stews. Excellent gnocco and tigelle. Impeccable service, quantity and quality. Villa so much patience from the lady in trying to understand what 10 children wanted to eat!

In Pompeano, a tiny historic village a few kilometers from Serramazzoni, with a view of the "Devil's Spade", we came to visit the Castle... which, however, was closed. We consoled ourselves at the "Trattoria Cacciatori", a rustic restaurant at the foot of the rock spur from which a monumental complex emerges that seems to soar among the clouds. The trattoria, however, remains well anchored to the earth, with tasty recipes, pride of the wise local tradition. We chose from a vast menu tortellini with ragù (usually served in broth) and rabbit cacciatore to take away. The "provisions" were quickly delivered with a smile included in the truly honest price, and we "consumed" half an hour later, in the shade of a small oak forest. Very good dishes, with the scent of Sundays of the past; generous portions and a souvenir to take home, postponing the coffee, to preserve on the palate the savory aroma of a very welcome "lunch".

Very nice quaint place and tasty food, to come back.

Unfortunately the service leaves a little to be desired...maybe they should reduce the number of seats at the table. The food? Everything is homemade, but this doesn't always mean it's good and not all flavors are the same.

To do again!!! Impeccable service, everyone very kind and ready to make requests, not to mention the food! I was pleasantly satisfied

The road to get there is a long one, the place is beautiful, the structure is decidedly small and it was full of people but we were served efficiently. The food was truly "genuine" and I presume locally sourced. Worth coming back to try the tortellini in broth, the donkey stew is excellent. A good, sweet Lambrusco to accompany, excellent homemade liqueurs at the end of the meal... the cost is very honest. Worth coming back and trying again also because the staff proved to be attentive and helpful... the only flaw was that they didn't score a second course (the schnitzel) but that's OK.
