Excellent trattoria between Padua and Limena, where I've stopped several times for lunch. The service is attentive, and the quality of the dishes is always excellent, especially the fish dishes. The prices are fair.

An exceptional restaurant in the Altichiero neighborhood of Padua. Venetian and Mediterranean menus, tasty and carefully prepared meat and fish dishes, top-notch service, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. They also have delightful residence-style rooms. For me, it's one of the best places in Padua.

I've heard about it for a long time without ever having the opportunity to eat there. Its strong points are definitely the owner's hospitality (who clearly cares about running the business as best he can) and the restaurant's order and cleanliness. As for the prices, I personally think they're roughly in line with current offerings, so I don't consider them "expensive" compared to others. I'm sorry to give it only three stars, but I didn't enjoy the food much (personal taste) despite the quality (for example, I didn't enjoy eating excellent tagliatelle with excellent prawns and delicious truffles...all tied together by a very heavy sauce made with cooking cream, from what I could tell). I also didn't appreciate one of the waiters: he definitely made too many mistakes during the dinner, despite always being polite and friendly (one of them was forgetting to let me order).
