The best restaurant in Piacenza in the last 10 years, pure tradition mixed with the expert hands of Piacenza chefs!! I went there with two children and they had no trouble choosing between new flavors. Recommended

An authentic inn in the Piacenza region. Gourmet dishes, a fine selection of wines, and a wide selection make for a truly wonderful discovery. Tripe, the very regional Pisarei e fasö, local charcuterie, truffle pasta, and more. A true culinary delight. Be careful, it's often full, so reservations are highly recommended.

Leisure Sunday with my husband, a ride on our Vespa and lunch in this beautiful and huge (I didn't believe it from the outside) restaurant. We ate very well: very fresh giardiniera, top cheese platter, delicious fried gnocco, very tasty beetroot gnocchi, very tender tagliata and very fresh roast beef. A wonderful discovery, we will return

Gnocco fritto molto buono, accompagnato da ottimi salumi e giardiniera. Agnolotti piacentini al burro e salvia squisiti, fatti a mano. Purtroppo non siamo riusciti ad arrivare al dolce… peccato! Assolutamente consigliato.

Saloni ampi e puliti, qualità del cibo ottima. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di salumi con gnocco fritto, tortelli piacentini e guancialino di maiale con polenta, tutto buono. Qualità/prezzo molto buono. Ci torneremo.

La Botique del Gelato

01/09/2025: Excellent gelato, perhaps the best in Piacenza. It's not easy to find: it's on a small, popular street not very close to the historic center. It's a shame that you have to stand on the sidewalk; there are no benches or chairs. But as long as the quality is good and the price isn't too high, it's acceptable.
30/08/2025: It's my first time here and I found it by chance, the ice cream was very good, both fruit and cream, I tried strawberry and yogurt, nuts and honey were excellent

03/08/2025: The rooms aren't overly spacious, but they're definitely clean and high-tech. So, I'd definitely choose it again as a base.
30/07/2025: We stayed at the Mathis for one night. Everything was perfect, we felt very comfortable. Beautiful rooms and very good food at the hotel restaurant. The hotel is located just steps from the center. All the staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much.
