The atmosphere is rustic and casual, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent, with interesting off-menu options. Recommended.

Friendly, but the wait between one place and the next was too long. Also, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and gnocchi with regular ragù, I couldn't tell the difference between the slices. The grilled meat... so-so, price for a fried appetizer for two (potatoes, vegetables, 2 olives, and 2 mozzarellas), two first courses (mentioned above), a grilled meat for two, 2 side dishes, 2 desserts (small), 1/2 cup of white wine, and 1 liter of water: €80... mmmmmm

I ate with friends in this beautiful historic residence with exposed beams and a fireplace from the early 1900s. Excellent pizzas. Superb carbonara pasta. The staff were always friendly and smiling with every course. Highly recommend it and we'll be back for the grilled meat.

What can I say, a total disappointment. We were regular customers who accepted paying even 3 euros for excessive cover charge. But paying 15 euros (which 2/3 months ago cost 10 euros) for a caprese made with a small buffalo mozzarella and 4 (four) slices of beefsteak tomato IS WAY TOO MUCH. If only I had imagined that I was paying 15 EUROS for a HALF dish compared to a few months before I would have taken a photo of it. When it's too much and too much ... never again!

26/11/2025: If you're reading this review, it's because you want to get off the beaten path—but not too far—from Venice's hyper-touristy circuit, and you'll be glad you did if you cross over to Giudecca Island. There you'll find a less crowded, less commercialized Venice, though don't expect a revelation. If you do go there, pop into Osteria da Moro, say hello at the bar in any language other than English (Italian is best, remember you're in Italy), and order a coffee or a macchiato. They'll gladly serve you, and you can enjoy it standing up and continue your walk, or go sit at one of the tables overlooking the lagoon. With that view of Venice, you'll be very happy. As I said, the coffee is good, the view unbeatable, and the service and prices more than fair. It all depends on your attitude. Autumn Boreal 2025
