Ho lavorato per tanti anni nella zona dell'anconetano ma non ero mai stato a mangiare in questi locale in centro.
Insieme ad un collega abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante che, per quanto riguarda l'arredamento, è rimasto agli anni '80 anche se devo dire che ha il suo fascino. Abbiamo mangiato un primo e secondo con stoccafisso e mi è piaciuto molto anche se pagare 40€ per un primo e secondo mi è sembrato davvero eccessivo.

I worked for many years in the Ancona area but I had never eaten in this restaurant in the center.
A colleague and I had lunch in this restaurant that, as far as the decor is concerned, has remained in the 80s even if I must say that it has its charm. We ate a first and second course with stockfish and I liked it a lot even if paying €40 for a first and second course seemed really excessive to me.

It was a wonderful experience, considering it was a Trattoria from 1897. We ordered a starter of Il Frittino Della Moretta (zucca flower, stuffed and fried olives, cremini (sweet fried cream), potatoes, and breaded vegetables) - divine... Antipasto - €10 - Trattoria La Moretta - since 1897 - Ancona and a very typical dish of theirs Lo “Stoccafisso all’Anconetana” - the restaurant's iconic dish is typical of the Anconetana tradition, a historic recipe from 1897. Desalted and rehydrated Norwegian cod, cooked over a slow fire with potatoes, olives and Pachino tomatoes - divine!!! €22.00 - La Moretta - 1897- Ancona... they were divine!!! They were worth the order

This restaurant definitely has a traditional and historical feel about it. The decor made me feel I had gone back in time. I came here to try some traditional Ancona food and was glad that I did. The baby octopus in red wine reduction was delicious albeit a tad salty. I really enjoyed the Anconitan Brodetto. The tomato based fish soup was super flavourful and the seafood was fresh. Service was friendly and attentive.

I often treat myself to an evening at La Moretta. Who doesn't need cuddles? It is the living room of my beautiful Ancona. I forget the melancholy when I sit at one of the tables. Warm, comfortable and great atmosphere. In the evening, the sparkle of candles always lit. You eat and drink well. From stockfish with potatoes to broth and meats. The sweets. Everyone is a cuddle. Precisely. All dishes well executed. Simple and courteous service. So excellent. I believe La Moretta takes its name from the founder. From a wine bar to the city's dining hall. She would be proud. High rating. Nine. Ten no. As I often say, I only give it to Del Piero.

The food is good, the price is high, the receipt shows a single fixed price menu item, even if this isn't the case, so you can't control the individual prices of the courses

Ottimo locale in centro. L'interno molto bello, sembra di essere in qualche ristorante in alta montagna.
Cibo molto buono. Personale attento e molto cordiale.
