Here they serve brodo, a kind of fish soup, which I really enjoy. However, the quality and freshness of the fish and shellfish were subpar and cooked far too long. I didn't really enjoy it. This might have been a top restaurant, but I feel like they've lost some of their motivation. The terrace was very pleasant, but everyone at the table expected more from the food.

Quite good food, carbonara is sadly not top tier.
Of course typical problem of Italians not knowing English, but it is what it is.
Possibly best restaurant in Ancona, check it out! Good climate, high pricing.

More than a trattoria, this is a beautiful restaurant. Impeccable service. I recommend the swordfish, but also the exquisite first courses. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food.

I booked a table, fascinated by the fact that it was a historic place.
And perhaps this is also the downside...the bathrooms are old and shabby, the placemats on the tables are old and dirty.
The staff is friendly and nice (I'm talking about the two young people, Ana the girl, and the blond one), while the three older ones are unwelcoming and unfriendly.
The food was nothing special, except the Ancona-style stockfish. The tagliatelle with stockfish was nothing special, and the appetizers were very expensive and lacking in praise.
€6 for three half slices of bread with tomatoes was a real rip-off.

We chose La Moretta to try the traditional Ancona-style brodetto (fish soup) and generally for a quality seafood dinner in Ancona. Our expectations were met: the brodetto was delicious, and the quality of the fish was evident. The second positive note concerns the homemade desserts: the revisited tiramisu was superb. The service provided by the staff could be improved.

Ho lavorato per tanti anni nella zona dell'anconetano ma non ero mai stato a mangiare in questi locale in centro.
Insieme ad un collega abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante che, per quanto riguarda l'arredamento, è rimasto agli anni '80 anche se devo dire che ha il suo fascino. Abbiamo mangiato un primo e secondo con stoccafisso e mi è piaciuto molto anche se pagare 40€ per un primo e secondo mi è sembrato davvero eccessivo.

Ottimo locale in centro. L'interno molto bello, sembra di essere in qualche ristorante in alta montagna.
Cibo molto buono. Personale attento e molto cordiale.
