A bistro at its best in Calabria. Local products that ooze quality, served on a platter, a mouth-watering eggplant parmigiana, and meatballs that won't make you miss the ones your mother or grandmother would have prepared for you. All served by incredibly tactful and kind staff, capable of advising and guiding you in your wine selection. A well-deserved five stars.

There's nothing to complain about regarding the authenticity and quality of the products (the sandwich, white lasagna, and pecorino cheese were more than delicious), regardless of the price, but beware of the true concept of "service." Charging €2 per person for a cover charge (cutlery and saucer included) and, more importantly, serving water in an unlabeled glass bottle (€3) is both excessive and unjustified.

What a delicious sandwich we had mid-morning. We found it on the go, wandering around, and went into the delicatessen (we didn't know there was also a dining room, although there was a terrace; it might have been closed at that time, so it didn't seem very busy. Maybe we went in through the wrong door) and ordered a sandwich. They give you a choice of two generously sized breads, and you can add any mixture you want, all sliced. We also ordered some leftover focaccias they had there, which I don't think they charged us for. All €4.50 and authentic.

Yet here, in this little refuge of flavor and soul, I felt like I was returning home. Each dish speaks a language I know well: that of grandmothers, of Sunday lunches, of the backyard garden, and of hands patiently kneading dough. The food is authentic, prepared with care and passion, without being forced. There's respect for the roots, but also a personal touch that speaks to the person who prepares it. The service is impeccable, welcoming, kind, the atmosphere warm. A place like this isn't just recommended. It's treasured. For those, like me, who still seek flavors steeped in memory and tradition.

We ended up there by chance and from the outside we couldn't tell if it was a butcher's shop or a wine shop. A very kind gentleman let us in and, even though the entrance looked like a butcher's shop, they then accompanied us to a room with tables. We took a classic cutting board: delicious cured meats, ricotta and exquisite cheeses, probably their own production. Very relaxing atmosphere with pleasant music. Very kind lady and very quick in preparing the cutting board. We found this exquisite place by pure chance!

A lovely gem in the historic center of Cosenza. The atmosphere is well-maintained, with exposed beams typical of historic townhouses. The staff is very friendly. The products are carefully selected and high-quality. I would recommend it for an aperitivo or aperitivo dinner.
