Antica Pizzeria Lombardi will turn 100 next year and there's a good reason why. This pizza was the best pizza I've ever had. The quality of the ingredients and attention to detail is noticeable in every bite. The crust had great chew without being too thick, nice char on the bottom with a hint of smoke from the wood fired oven, a rich and bright sauce , and just enough toppings so that each worked in harmony without overwhelming one another. My only regret is that I didn't get two!

My family and I came to this pizzeria, near the B&B where we were staying... Very simple on the outside, but renovated, clean, and pleasant inside. The food is excellent, both the pizzas, of which there's an endless selection, and the appetizers, varied, tasty, and made with fresh ingredients. The prices are reasonable. What more can I say? Highly recommended!

This is a little gem we found close to where we stayed in Bari. The service was excellent and pizza was delicious. The lady owner was so nice to surprise us with vegetarian pizza of various local and fresh vegetables. It is a go to pizzeria. It’s been in the family business for a century now !

We arrived in Bari this evening after in exhausting trip from Lincoln, UK. All during a rare British heatwave. We are staying 2 nights in a delightful apartment on the same street, and really wanted easy walking distance. This couldn't have been more convenient. We arrived at 1930, just as doors opened. The welcome could not have been warmer, all the more when Google Translate came to the rescue. I find it charming to visit a place, which, slightly off the beaten track isn't pandering to tourists. If I come to a foreign country, the onus is on me to make the effort too. We ended up having a series of 'surpise me dishes', as long as they were meat free. We couldn't have asked for better. The chef is an absolute maestro of the pizza oven. We couldn't ask for more. Delizioso!
