We ordered the famous frittatina to go, which cost us €2.50. It was really delicious and we would definitely order it again. We also tried their Margherita pizza for €6, and although it was good, it wasn't anything special; there are better places to get it.

The first pizza you have to try while in Napolithen from here you can go to the modern ones and have a comparison base. As a Neapolitan I always bring whoever is visiting here as a starting point

Il Duca

27/01/2026: We organized a pizza party with the basketball teams... there were 30 of us... everything was perfect... short wait times, everything was delicious... the pizza dough was easy to digest... very kind staff.
19/01/2026: Il Duca is a historic pizzeria that has been completely renovated: modern and elegant interiors, spaces that aren't huge but are well-organized. The area is well-served: there's no dedicated parking, but you can easily find a spot nearby, even a free one just a few meters away. Friendly and fast service, and a special mention for the warm welcome they even gave my dog, who was welcomed with joy (that's not a given!). The pizza is excellent: perhaps just below the absolute best, but we're in Naples... so competing at this level is already a top-notch experience. Special mention for the "Duca" with cherry tomatoes and spicy sauce, always a guarantee. The fried foods are also very good, both in quality and variety.
