A beautiful and very traditional restaurant, located in a charmingly decorated alley in Presicce. Four of us dined, sampling three first courses, all top-notch, and the fried fish was excellent. The house amari is a coffee served like you've never seen before. 🤩 The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The owner, Vincenzo, was incredibly welcoming, kind, and friendly, captivating us with his legends about the "philosopher's stone" (which only he can reveal)! The quality/price ratio is top-notch! I would happily return.

We dined at Antica Pietra Filosofale during our stay in Salento. The location is quaint and well-kept, nestled in a charming alleyway. We sampled the caramelized octopus, with its delicate, melt-in-the-mouth flavor, and the stewed Salento rolls, a riot of Mediterranean flavors.
Kudos to the chef, Enrica, and to Sara, who served us with professionalism and kindness.
After dinner, we booked for the following evening to enjoy other specialties.

"Antica Pietra Filosofale" is probably the best, coziest and most wonderful restaurant in this incredibly beautiful town. The service is extremely professional and at the same time warm, giving a special coziness. The menu is very thoughtfully designed - everyone will easily find a dish to their taste and preferences. And the taste of the food itself is impeccable, leaving only the best impressions. The culmination of the evening is a special coffee presentation, which ended the evening with elegance and a pleasant surprise.

Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant for its relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is high-quality, with original, sophisticated dishes. The prices are moderate. We'll definitely be back!
